@Gearloose100 The AC voltage is 11.2V and with my 4 diodes, the DC output was around 9.9V
I need to know how to drop the 9.9V down to about 4V to power 2 LEDs. I connected the resistors in series to the positive DC output lead, but the voltage didn't decrease. It was still around 9.8V even with the resistors soldered and everything.
Remember 1N4004's are only 1 Amp 100PIV.. Maybe you should think of using 1N5406 ' s 3A 600PIV

@Gearloose100 I believe I got the current down to about 18mA or so, if I remember correctly.
