  • Remember 1N4004's are only 1 Amp 100PIV.. Maybe you should think of using 1N5406 ' s 3A 600PIV

  • @Gearloose100 The AC voltage is 11.2V and with my 4 diodes, the DC output was around 9.9V

    I need to know how to drop the 9.9V down to about 4V to power 2 LEDs. I connected the resistors in series to the positive DC output lead, but the voltage didn't decrease. It was still around 9.8V even with the resistors soldered and everything.

  • @Gearloose100 I believe I got the current down to about 18mA or so, if I remember correctly.
