Hi, IamMohawk I can tell you that most players are right handed players. When I picked the flute up for the first time at a workshop, I asked about the left or right hand position, and the workshop presenter said to hold the flute in the most comfortable position for you. I did take notice that all the other people in the workshop were holding the flute right handed. It was a natural feel for me. Also I am right handed.LOL
