Rise Against never made a bad first track. All of them are great ways to start off an album, especially 'State of the Union', 'Chamber the Cartridge' and my favourite, 'Collapse'.
Ummm.....Pennywise was around making kick ass punk rock when these guys where still popping zits in fucking junior high. Pennywise influenced by Rise Against...give me a fucking break.
And to the original comment, they sound nothing like Pennywise. Two totally different forms of music.
