  • Another beauty Jim. This is gorgeous, so sad. Your neighbours are lucky to get to hear this for free! Brill - you make it look effortless; I know it isn't!

  • @0ldfinger Hey Martin, not sure it's fair to subject anybody to the many hours of irritating practice that goes along with this - I remember having a few lessons once from a guitar teacher whose wife insisted that we could only play an electric guitar which was fed to headphones so that she didn't have to suffer for our art :o) Cheers, bud.

  • Jim, i also have played this song for years. Your interpretation is such a class act. Bravo, my friend!

  • @amccann7 I'm really touched by your lovely comments on my performances,Amy ! With material and arrangements of this quality, I've got a good start, I'd have to admit. Speak with you soon, buddy :o)

  • Very nice Jim. I like both your performance, music and pics. Ireland is certainly a very pretty Country, It is in my trip plans.

Thank for your coment of " o boêmio". inadvertently i remove your coment, but the answer is there. Thanks.

  • @0fmase Thanks, Maura ! My next video is a traditional Scottish tune, which I hope you'll also enjoy. I'm quite proud of the photographs, so I'm glad you liked them.

    Best Regards, Jim

  • Glad I discoverd this pearl on your channel Jim.

I love these Irish tunes a lot and you played this one very well.

Also the pictures are beautiful. I think I should travel to Ireland one day...

    Best wishes - Sabine

  • @SabMei1 Hi Sabine, and thanks for the very kind comment ! I'm glad you liked the pictures of my country also. Ireland is a land with a lot of open spaces, as you can see :o) I've just finished digitising a lot of older holiday pictures, so more to follow on future videos, hopefully. Cheers for now, Jim

  • @jimijames1970 I really appreciate your kind remarks, and glad you enjoyed the video ! Regards, Jim

  • @GaryOguitar

    Enjoyed the whole offering!

  • That first picture looks like something some Turner/Constable/Friedrich could have painted. I enjoyed the pictures and the sound of your Martin.

  • @hyperboreal Hey Alex, I don't know about the artist thing on the first picture. I think it's Donegal, anyway !. Most are from lovely County Mayo and County Sligo. Glad you enjoyed the music and pictures. The Martin is a (1990) 000-16 mahogany/spruce, so it's nicely mellow now. Thanks for the compliments, sir !

  • @jimguitarfan

That's great, you have to love that Martin! Thanks for the info Jim.

  • Hello Jim, beautiful pictures and lovely music - very nice playing!

lovely comments ! You're right.....EVERYBODY needs a holiday in Ireland at least once ! If you get there, there's a pub overlooking the bay in North County Mayo.......regular music "sessions" very late at night - so bring that geetar and plenty of caffeine :o)

    Cheers,

    JIm

  • Very good upload, Jim. Your guitar sounds immaculate, and I really liked the photos. The Irish countryside would be a great place to holiday in, I reckon. Steve.

  • @Mr5stevenr Hiya Steve. Thanks for the great comment ! Glad you like the sound quality, as I've worked hard at improving my setup without breaking the bank...

I'm biased about Ireland, as it's my home country: but I think it's pretty special....as long as you don't mind "changeable" weather ! Regards, Jim
