  • BOOO TABLOID JOURNALISM BOOO!!!

  • That didn't explain crap thanks very much

  • The proposed carbon tax is illegal under European corporate more

  • The tax is designed to suck the liquidity out of the national economy to stunt growth and increase the gap between the 1% and the rest of us proles

  • Watch "trading on thin air" on Hulu

  • If we let this carbon tax thing take off like it is we mind as well put the last nail in our own coffen now.

  • The carbon tax deception: watch?v=-rHURTDNBaI

Gillard is a part of the global elitists.

  • @KPAracing Of course she is thats why she lives in a tiny 3 bedroom house in Altona where all the elitists live. I also don't think her hair is really red.

  • ANDREW BOLT WAS INSTALLED ON CHANNELL 10 BY FILTHY RICH MINING MAGNATE GINA RINEHART 10% OWNER OF 10 TO TELL LIES ABOUT THE CARBON TAX & OUR GOVERNMENT. HE IS A DISGUSTING NEO CON PROPAGANDIST TOADY WORKING FOR BIG MINING COMPANIES WHO DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR POLLUTING OUR PLANET! CHANNELL 10 & THEIR BIMBO NEWZ READERS ARE A DISGRACE TO JOURNALISM IN AUSTRALIA & ARE LYING TO AUSTRALIANS FOR ABBOTT THAT LYING RAT TONY ABBOTT. HOW DUMB ARE AUSTRALIANS SUPPORTING THIS WEASEL & HIS ELITE MINING MATES

  • @Mischelle999 YOUR CAPITALS ARE HURTING MY EYES!

  • Businesses face million dollar fine merely for suggesting tax will cause higher prices

  • @superhotbm No. They face fines if they raise prices in a way that is profiteering and not a genuine rise as result of carbon price.

  • WHY is it Carbon credits are up for Auction by GRAYS online today. Being sold by a sydney solar company with verified credits underwritten by US & UK finance companies. As well as promoted by some dubious Inidan operators. Not forgetting the verifying company has members such as Coca Cola, Nike, JP morgan, Bank Swiss + More. yep all credible scientific authorities to ENFORCE GLOBAL SCAM TAX.

  • All the planets are heating up due to increased solar activity co2 increases becouse of this and when the planet cools co2 decreases No such thing as man causing global warming it would happen even if we wernt here

  • @Expirien Finally, I've discovered the truth! Where... in the comments section of Youtube. You've cleared it all up for us mate. Cheers for your insight. I mean the Sun is hot hey...

  • i might vote liberal because im a total fucking retard that has no idea about issues but can relate to calling someone else a red headed rat rooting liar and ill push the agendas of big coal without even knowing it thank you very much. I get scared at the thought of a carbon tax because it has the word tax in it so instead of making big polluters pay & contribute to public finances ill go for a plan where us tax payers give money to them because I'm dumber than actual ape shit.

  • legal plunder.

  • They should have run with this option. watch?v=qImNRuV4G0Q

  • @MrPectos You support the Carbon Tax? Pathetic.

  • You've GOT to be fucking joking. I'm not against the carbon tax because it will increase my tax bill - quite the opposite - I'm against it because it will DESTROY our treasury's revenue base. It is literally the stupidest piece of Australian legislation I have ever seen in my lifetime, and I have a 100% Labor-voting track record.

  • @mlawren7 100% at the federal level that is.

  • @mlawren7 How???

  • @mlawren7

How many country's is this in? Could you explain how this works in short with me? Sorta confused and new to this but interested.

  • Bull shit, the AUst government allowed increased prices for utilities 2 years before this CARBON TAX crap. SO the effect now is increased tax which will increase forever. So the starting point was RAISED by gov then they want to FORCE unending increases, only to GIVE the TAXPAYERS money away to a central government! Wake up you educated tools the CARBON TAX will rape us

  • hmm. shame it doesnt have any information in this that the carbon taxes are globally pushed by mobster banking families like the rothschilds..

  • If electricity companies can't absorb the cost of meeting current mandatory green energy requirements or even pass it on to their shareholders but instead pass it on to their customers, how will a carbon tax which applies to hundreds of companies work any differently?

  • Thing is, it's not a tax. It's more like a fine. A tax is money paid to government for profits earned, whereas this is a penalty for excessive use of fossil fuels & pollution.

  • carbon tax will do very little for global warming(next to nothing) unless the big polluters around the globe join in(the main polluters have no intention) even then it is debatable.

For Australia, all it will do is eventually give the government a tool to up the taxes even more and despite what they say put the prices up on almost everything beyond the so called "compensation" basically the government will be able to find a reason to tax everything you do.

  • @madashell1200 So what your saying is that CO2 is plant food?

  • Federal Treasury analysis shows the Opposition's direct action climate change policy would cost twice as much as a carbon tax for the same reduction in emissions.

  • CO2 is a natural gas that trees use to make oxygen. Al Gore is talking about this in the US now. Please Australians, please don't let this stupid shit pass. Set an example for the rest of the world and destroy this idea before it becomes too popular.

  • Try my channel for 2011 real climate science conference,It's called 6th International conference on climate change held in The US.Scroll down the uploads column, they are in no particular order however the Q&A videos should be watched after the others and do read my description of the video.Enjoy no need for co2 tax!!!!

  • This is complete bullshit. In British Colombia there is a Carbon Tax and it has worked out better then expected. It's one thing to criticize a theory on this scale, it's another to make these claims when it's been proven in practice that it works.

  • @dave19941000 Hahah British Columbia that's two different countries. Get your facts straight you ingorant boffin.

  • @arkin4 You get your facts strait, British Colombia is a Canadian Province, what did they teach you in Geography class?

  • @dave19941000 will it still be good when the tax goes up to $30 a ton in 2012? in your province Dave?

  • @mikldude Projections show yes, in practice it's probably not going to be as well as we hoped, but it's worked so far better then expected.

  • I feel for you peeps Down Under! ...But this Carbon Tax BS will be introduced eventually to ALL countries one way or another.

  • this will do nothing for the environment, china is gonna build 100 coal fired power stations while we pay more for aussie made goods!!!

  • @pheonixrising789 It will do some things for the environment. I don't think it's necessarily for the best, but China is looking especially to Australia to set the example - and they are one of the biggest polluters of the world. We are one of the closest western countries to China. Apparently this tax has been sold to taxpayers as an "incentive" to set example to the rest of the world. So yes, I agree it is a conceptual ideology of intellectual rhetoric, but at least it's "something".

  • All their LIes!!

    Gillard (Before the Election)

"There will be no Carbon Tax under the government I lead.

    Swan(Before the Election):

" Certainly what we have rejected is this hysterical allegation, some how we are moving towards a Carbon Tax from the LIberal and their advertising"

  • Wong(Before the Election):

A carbon tax is a less efficient way in the Australian Government's view of dealing

    with this issue.

Unfortunately a carbon tax is not the silver bullet some people would think.

Know that you can't have any environmental certainty with a carbon tax.

  • A new study in the peer-reviewed science journal "Remote Sensing" has found that United Nations computer models may be incorrect in overstating the amount of global warming that will occur in the future. James M. Taylor says it would be wise for the media, elected officials and climate scientists to recognize the “huge discrepancy” between global warming predictors and NASA’s satellite data.

  • All their Lies!!

  • Ironically, all 4 organizations advising Abbott on his "Direct Climate Action" ACTUALLY SUPPORT Gillards price on carbon.

    The Clean Energy Council

"supports the introduction of an efficient and effective carbon price"

    Green Buildings Council

"bring together businesses to demonstrate their support for the introduction of a carbon price in Australia."

    Energy Efficiency Council

"The Carbon Price strikes the right balance."

    Property Council

"The Council supports a carbon pricing mechanism."

  • @markvansomething Yes your clean green councils support the Tax, but 80% of the population don't.

We don't support it because we were lied to, by this lying scum bag government.

We don't support because will no effect on the global environment.

We don't support it because it will destroy our economy.

Your scum bag for supporting this affront to our democracy.

Your a scum bag for supporting these politicians who treat the very people who voted for them with contempt.

  • @er6nthailand I voted for action on climate change. Thank you Gillard for delivering.

The ETS is what she promised, and that is what we will get after this transition period to the ETS.

    So get over it!

You will have your chance to vote in favour of pollution in the next election.

  • @markvansomething

If you voted for Gillard then you would of been thinking.

"There will be no Carbon Tax under the government I lead"

If you voted for her and you new she was lying, what makes you so confident she is now telling the truth?

The truth is, she is a lying scum bag and you are an idiot and a scum bag.

It is yet to be seen whether or not these lying scum bags will allow Australians to vote again.

They lie about everything and have no morals or conscience to refrain them.

  • @er6nthailand Oh come on. She is introducing an ETS as she promised. I voted for her action towards a clean economy, and that is what she is delivering now - as promised . Sheesh! Get over it ! You probably did not even vote for her anyway, so whatever she said did not change your vote. Take a breath and move on buddy.

  • @markvansomething

Two far right conservative independents joined the far left party against the wishes of 90% of the people who voted for them. The current Prime minister and her party lied their arses off.

These are terrible people who have shown nothing but contempt for the people who voted for them.

The damage they have done already to our democracy is permanent, the peoples respect for the office of Prime Minister is gone forever.

  • @markvansomething

    I am not your Buddy.

I hate you people for supporting these lying scum bags.

Understand I voted against Howard and Hewsons GST, but I can accept that as the majority of my country men wanted it.

My problem is the majority of Australians did not vote for this and also they were lied too and conned.

  • @er6nthailand Abbott also plans to fight global warming by spending $10.5 billion of your tax dollars. His plan is crazy considering he does not even care about atmospheric pollution, yet he wants to spend your money on it rather than charge the big polluters. Abbott wants to micro manage green projects rather than use market forces. Abbott can not find a single economist to publicly support his plan over Gillards. Not one! So you should still vote for Gillard. She has the better plan.

  • @markvansomething

He is of the opinion that it will do real lasting damage to this generation of Australians and future generations to come.

He spent sometime explaining how the European ETS system was a complete failure and had achieved absolutely nothing but economic damage.

He is was of the opinion that Abbott's direct action policy was a far better plan.

  • @markvansomething Professor Václav Klaus who recently spoke at the National Press Club spent fifteen years working on economic computer models similar to the one Prof. Garnaut used. He is convinced that this type of economic model used to create the Carbon Tax is completely flawed and the Tax will do nothing but damage our economy.

  • @markvansomething

People like you and your scum bag mates, who think that the average Aussie is to stupid

to even be given a chance to vote on something like this are unbelievable.

80% of the population don't want her Tax and are angry about her lies. The Polls show that even her own electorate{a traditional safe Labor seat} would kick her out if we had an election today.

How could turn on these people, your just scum!!

  • @markvansomething

Ultimately the problem with you and your Labor mates is you are continually dishonest.

Your just a lying scum bags.

Imagine voting for people who want to legislate away the rights of a free press.

You are the worst king of humans.

  • Go to the SOS-NEWS website and read the article called- Global Warming Scam is DEAD ! ,Speaking were the world’s foremost climate scientists. They discussed on the latest evidence in the field of climatology and explained the most recent peer reviewed scientific discoveries. And one thing from their talks is crystal clear: when it comes to the battle of ideas, the apocalyptic man-made global warming scam is DEAD. 6th International Conference On Climate Change Calls Out Bob Brown as a Fraud

  • Grand sale! I am opening a new business selling, thermal underwear ( made in china out of petro based fibre) Spun on electric machines powered by coal dug up in Oz. Packed by low cost labour, packaged in plastic, wrapped in printed cardboard, trucked to port& loaded by diesel crane, into diesel power ships to be unloaded in Oz. NO CARBON TAX APPLIED Yet!, Unloaded, transported, warehoused, etc etc ALL WITH CARBON TAX. No help to environment, COST TO THE TAX PAYER!

  • @unreal22000 you make a good point friend.

  • wow tell us all the shit facts ya fuck heads! we are going to pay them $500 more to get $200 back, well done Julia Lizard

  • For anyone seeking to become better informed on Carbon Taxation:

Looking for input, feedback and site promoters. :-)

  • What a load of rubbish, Just wait for the impact for the increase in diesel price well passed on through everything you all buy !

Just to let everyone know this is not a new idea. The same debate is happening in Califorina.

Well would do more for the planet by just planting more trees !!!

  • FINALLY a carbon tax! well overdue, but hopefully not a case of "too little too late". the only way humans will cut pollution is if it is cheaper to use renewable energies- short term pain for long term gain!

  • @oronzofreddy

You make me feel sick. You and your Lying scum bag mates.

    Gillard (Before the Election)

"There will be no Carbon Tax under the government I lead.

  • @er6nthailand how is changing from a non-renewable source of energy to unlimited ones e.g. wind power, solar power in the next century inefficient? Coal is bound to run out and the price of it will only increase. Whereas if we tax our carbon polluting companies, they will eventually turn to alternative sources of energy. Our economy will perform more efficiently and Australia will benefit immensely in regards to our economy. Short term pain, long term gain.

  • @xJTrack

Trying to use one as a base load power system especially by storing the power as heated oil on winter nights makes it unsuitable for a base load power station.

The scale of this type of power station to achieve a reliable base load is so ridiculously big and expensive, it is not even worth considering.

Also all these options are not unlimited and they need to be continually serviced and replaced.

  • @xJTrack

Wind power is subject to fluctuations and surges and is totally unsuitable for

    base load power.

Solar power stations create less than a one fifth the power they make in summer as they do in winter. They are also extremely inefficient.

  • @xJTrack

Yours is a very simplistic way of looking at our situation.

Coal is one of our greatest commodities, it is cheap to mine and safe to transport.

The people who use our coal can get it else where if they have to.

We have excellent functional power stations now, so destroying our economy now to make new ones with unproven technology is idiotic. This will not only damage our economy for this generation but it will also make generations to come poorer, by missing out on this wealth.

  • @er6nthailand sorry but destroying the economy a tad too strong, anyone who actually believes the rubbish that is thrown around by the libel party is either a herald sun reader or just terribly misinformed. Also, coal being one of our greatest commodities doesn't necessarily mean it wont run high in price over the next 100 years. Half of europe has some sort of tax on carbon (or emmisions trading scheme) why not us?

  • @xJTrack

Coal is by far the cheapest form of electricity.

It will clearly remain that way unless the far left have their way.

When the resource begins to deplete, then we have a number of other options, including gas and nuclear.

The only real problem Australia faces today and into the future is The Australian Labor party. With out this bunch of incompetent, fraudulent, dishonest politicians, we would all become very wealthy very quickly.

  • @xJTrack

{It was broadcast on the ABC, The ABC is renowned

    for dishonest left wing programs so I hope this is an acceptable media reference for you}

He is of the opinion that it will do real lasting damage to this generation of Australians and future generations to come.

He spent sometime explaining how the European ETS system was a complete failure and had achieved absolutely nothing but economic damage.

  • @xJTrack Professor Václav Klaus who recently spoke at the National Press Club spent fifteen years working on economic computer models similar to the one Prof. Garnaut used. He is convinced that this type of economic model used to create the Carbon Tax is completely flawed and the Tax will do nothing but damage our economy.

  • @xJTrack

An example of this is the electricity companies who are already charging their customers more in anticipation of a Tax and its not even Law yet.

  • @xJTrack "destroying the economy a tad too strong"

I don't think so, idiot! This Tax is on everything, only unlike the GST it is very complicated because businesses are to be Taxed over one hundred different ways and while they are trying to work out how much they have been screwed by this dishonest fraudulent Government, they will tend to charge more than they need to.

  • @er6nthailand alright well i'm a year 11 IB economics student and i have a life so i'm going to stop this here by saying, coals going to run out. Solar power will improve. Pollution is destroying out world even IF climate change is a hoax. :)

  • @xJTrack

Ok, sure, we should take better care of ourselves, clean up our water ways, plant more trees ect..

But we don't have to sacrifice our democracy and our economy to do this.

  • @xJTrack

On the contrary if we were to take the brakes off our economy, set fire to the regulations retarding small businesses, make investment in our country more attractive with lower taxes and more honest governance, sack all the public servants in Canberra who don't contribute to wealth of our country {that is most of them!} then we will have more than enough cash to spend on cleaning up the place.

  • @xJTrack

Making us all poor, through supporting this fraudulent, idiotic government, will not help the environment.

It will just make us less able to deal with real environmental challenges.

  • @er6nthailand MAKING US ALL POOR, ARE YOU KIDDING. I'm sorry I can't maintain this conversation with you, it's like talking to a brick wall. Maybe if you had an education you would understand.

  • @xJTrack

Your are student and you have been brain washed by our far left schooling system, however if your are a good student you would be able to justify what your saying with evidence. This you cannot seem to do!

Personal attacks are fine; however if you have nothing left to support your argument but personal attacks you

should know that you have already lost the argument and it is clear for all to see.

Your just an Ignorant little man, so go back to school and try and learn something.

  • @er6nthailand Please explain to me the lies you have been hereing from the media about how it will "destroy our economy." Let me explain it this way. We tax them on carbon. Their prices are increases because there cost of producing is increased. If they switch to solar power or wind power (which in the next hundred years will become soooo much better in terms of efficiency) there cost of production will decrease, and they will be able to charge less then there competitors...

  • @er6nthailand What do you think their competitors are going to do? Eventually Australia as a whole will be able to produce goods and services cheaper than the rest of the world.

  • It all good, because I invented a carbon measuring device which I am selling to the fed gov by way of contract, further I also hold a patent on methane compression system to fit to all bovine herds, again I'm selling this to the fed gov by way of contract. Finally I have invented a system to open the ozone layer to create a hole to expel the extra heat causing carbon. Win win & win.....oops wasnt it just a few years ago that a Ozone hole was going to kill us all?

  • One of the many reasons Australia sucks.

  • 1st

  • @iBrandonxDlol OMG! you should be sooooo proud mate
