It's true reiter's is not a laughing matter. But being a uni student and trying to remember all the hundreds of diseases out there, this video has really helped me remember all the symptoms! so in the future i get the right diagnosis and the right treatment.
ive had reiters syndrome about 3mnths now and the worst part of it is the pains and aches from inflamation. the only treatment im on is knee aspirations, tramadol pain relif, and anti-inflamatries. ofcourse these are useless and i guess we jus have 2 put up with it. its destroyred my life to be honnest.
@simoncollis dude. you can easily keep it in check with a substance called MMS. clorine dioxide works, but it cant penetrate the bones - perhaps dmso + chlorine dioxide would work - but to simply keep it in chess - google 'mms humble'. if you want to go the mainstream way, check out the recent ReA study by googling "dr. carter + reactive arthritis". double-blinded study where people experienced complete remission.
@TheUnion5 thanx union5 ive since been put on methotrexate wich has been an absolute god send they adjust the bodies immune system somehow wich reverses the joint troubles its an amazing drug!
I was diagnosed with Reiter's in 1992 while in the Navy. My symptoms were horrible. The ship I was on didn't help me much. Then we arrived in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia where I went into a coma for 7 days. I lived at the hospital in Saudi for 2 months. Then I was flown home from the Gulf during a war. It took 3 weeks to get me back to San Diego. Since then I've had several lingering problems. The disease destroyed my tear ducts and left scar tissue on my inner eye lids. I still get sores in my mouth.
I have head reiters syndrome for a little over three years now. With knee, ankle, foot , and prostate inflammation. This disease hasnt been fun. I have hla-b27, the only supplement I found that works is 8-10 grams fish oil per day. Takes about a month of continually dosing with fish oil. Avoid omega 6 fatty acids take in omega 3
Whoever said this is a funny video - it is NOT funny! Reiter's Syndrome is a very real problem, and NOT funny to those of us who have it. I ought to know, I have had this disease for 18 years now. Thank you to the folks who put this video on YouTube.
google "dr. carter + reactive arthritis"- recent double blinded study around 2009-2010, where a substansial number of ReA sufferers experienced complete remission. they used a combination of antibiotics over a period of 6 months.
After I got this disease from sex, I ended up with persistant sexual arousal syndrome also, the worst. Intense long term arousal with no resolution even after orgasm. It is horrible, I now have to spend my life celebate. He makes a big joke of this. I was in the er several times from persistant sexual arousal syndrome and men can get priapism from this.
