  • i don't have the home button :S

  • demonstrating an audio app really works best showing it making music... .

  • Can you load your own samples/loops on to it?

  • Why not using nice fat sounds?

  • sure looks like Ableton LIVE for ipad -- interesting!

  • Music with ipad2 on my channel ( fringe, dexter , daft punk , forrest gump, elvis presley and more ^^ )

  • can u import samples?

  • thank you for the tutorial. it was helpful to understand. you did a good job. good stuff. for 20 bucks, i'll buy it.

  • @Frosti2008 fl studio is a good one, but its like $300

  • Can you add your own files to make it better? Email me thanks

  • nice vid ! But , im wondering how you program in individual notes for say synth sounds and what not ? I just bought a version of this for my ipod but its set up a little different so im confused a bit . Glad i saw you vid though , i wasnt aware that record had to be on to make changes and i have a little better understanding of how the matrix grid page works . Thanks.

  • i will be getting this defo

  • Garageband has topped all.

  • The best Ipad Music studio production is NANOSTUDIO. I really don´t like this Electrify. It´s just like a toy. Luis try NANOSTUDIO! NANOSTUDIO IS AWESOME!!! VERY PROFESSIONAL! YOU WONT REGRET LUIS. CHEERS :)

  • Nanostudio is better

  • I grabbed Electrify yesterday and have been loving it...very intuitive and fun. Just need a decent wav editor app to compliment it.

Of course, some automation and motion sequences would be great too...maybe in an update?

  • I like thumbjam.. But thats just my kind of music making style :)

  • someone know whats the name of this app ??????????

    /watch?v=Npx8tkPU1D0&feature=related

  • someone know whats the name of this app ??????????

  • @kerberos60 Look at the top of the iPad's screen.

  • @andyisthelegend still cant see whats the name :(

  • I just wanna say, I am very critical of ielectribe and from what I can tell electrify does not compare to ielectribe. Also electrify is a sample based sequencer and ielectribe is a drum synthesis styled app, meaning ielectribe does not use samples. Seems like similar limitations though, only 16th notes and maxes out at 300bpms, also I think I saw an 8 bar max... Ielectribe has a 4 bar max.

  • this clip has made me want to go out and get an iPad2. thanks for the clip man

  • Fantastic review.

  • f***ing cool

  • Is that Dane Cook talking?

  • @mastathrasha LOL, does sound like him.

  • Very nice dude, did you make the app?

  • Nanostudio is the best in combination with akai syntstation 25. Works really good.

  • looks pretty much like Live

  • Personally I say that Argon is better than all of those. But thats just me.

  • This is a completely differnt app to Korgs app so your opinion if very unbalanced!

  • @demobuttonuk Technically it's not all that different, tbh. I have the actual hardware version of the Electribe (the virtual analog one, not the sample based) and Electrify is actually quite similar in feature set, it's just a very different workflow because of the UI, and the workflow of Electrify actually seems more fitting for the ipad than a virtual Electribe.

  • Its ableton for ipad!!

  • Stupid, this Guy says that Electribe isn't as good as Electrify - comparing two Full different apps doesn't make sense. As I can say, iSequence is a thousand times better than Electrify. Electrify just has two effect busses and a lack of samples. The usability is much better on iSequence. By the way, I own both...

  • can u upload synth sound made from a syntherzirer app on the ELECTRIFY

  • If I didn't know better, I'd swear I was looking at Sensomusic's "Usine" or one of the Jazz Mutant products.....

  • thanks for sharing!

  • Nice demonstration, this is a quality app.

interestingly enough, Electrify is something like the (at this point imaginary!) electribe iES-1 ;-) which i would like to have

  • Its ableton, haha what a joke

  • It would be awfully nice if you could record yourself singing over this, as in a song with vocals! I am using Pro Piano for that, but it's very very limited compared to this.

  • Such a killer App! First thing I downloaded when I got my iPad last week. Looking forward to future updates.

  • Coolest fucking app everrrr. And I'm nowhere near as good as this dude

  • great tutorial video, you explained it so a noob to the beat creating world like me is already making some beats that don't sound all that bad. :)

    Thanks again

  • it should have a step sequencer and playlist like FL. : p Looks better for DJ'ing than making music. The dubstep sounded pretty sick, btw.

  • here is where you can get the final version now. thanks for waiting you guys. hope you like it. p.s.: i changed the name becuase their is already an iflat in cydia. you can get it at my website as a zip. My website is in my channel because youtube wont let me post it

  • thats is really cool!!

  • you are so good @ making songs

  • Nice review. It's a pity that this application doesn't have a real synth built in that allows you to control envelopes or oscillators. I would love to have a moog synth for the ipad. I'm impressed with this application though

  • Awww Man! I don't have an iTouch! <:(

  • @Niyologist What I meant to say is iPad. Sorry.

  • sweet

  • Sick! Makes me want to buy one now..

  • make an awesome song from this application and put it into your next video!!!
