Yeah, webcams probably don't have the option. Another way to accomplish (roughly) the same thing would be to do adjustments to the brightness in AE where you animate the settings since the blue-shirt you forces the camera to adjust it's exposure. Animating AE brightness settings is trickier than locking exposure (when that's an option).
Locking the camera's exposure when you film both scenes makes it so the background remains the same color, preventing the dark halo around your head.

I was using my webcam so i am not sure if i have that option. Thanks for the advice.
