I have read a large number of books about children who suffer like this. It's awful what people would do to a child and it truly breaks my heart to see their poor faces all bruised and their eyes filled with tears. People who do that kind of thing to a child should be sterilized and forbidden by law to be near any child. God bless all those children in danger right now. Hopefully they'll soon find peace.

If your mom is not abusing you and is unaware of your dads abusiveness you will just be in her custody. However if she is aware of him abusing you she can get in trouble too. But it's better that you speak up about it before it's too late to. You need to speak up, for yourself and for your brother.

One of my best friends was secerley absued by her druggy of a father for years...I was always her comfort. We'd huddle up and cry together...I was her truth, her sanctuary.
Then one day, I knew that a true friend wouldn't allow her almost sister to live like this, so i told a teacher at school.
After a few weeks, she now lives with her mom, and I see her happier then she's ever been. =] <3

ive worked with children who have been brutally abused and know a child personally. Its heartbreaking to actually see these children suffering from something they are so innocent about.
I just wanted to say, adults who kill children are killing most likey more than one life because, the kid who has been murderd might have planned to have babies. That is all I want to say.
It is beyond me how someone can abuse a child like that. Kids are beautiful and they are so innocent. I just can't explain what it is that I feel right now, it is a feeling of rage against those that abuse and murder children. It's disgusting. What is even more disgusting is we all know what a problem child abuse is and people just have the nerve to take a stand. One case reported is another case of a safe child. Maybe even a chance at decreasing the numbers.
All I can say is keep the hell away from the police. Don't contact the Customs Assistance Unit, known as The CAU police in Sydney. Keep away from them. It was a cop from there who raped me' and it is them that get off on child abuse victims.

If you lived through verbal/mental abuse, most state officials don't jump on it right away.
If it was Physical abuse, then Social Services would have taken you out of your home, if there were signs of it. they would have to investigate you and your family.

I would tell your local police or CPS. You can do it anonimously, and they would investigate on it and then if they suspect child Abuse they would intervene. Don't wait. The longer you wait to tell someone, the more your friend gets hurt and it can possibly end up being too late.

wow i have been looking up child abuse videos for s few hours, because i am doing my civics project on lack of enforcment and reported cases, and this is one og the best i have seen. it is hard to find pictures that really show the brutality of it, but you did a good job. Abuse is horrible. Especially emotional abuse. it is extremly unrecognised and very underreported, mostly bc most ppl can't tell between b!tchiness and cruelty. I have been touched by this song and the Video, I am in a battle for the safety of my 6 year old grandson who now lives with his mother in Keleen, Tx. She has burned him and his 4 year old borther with Cigaretts and Cigars. I took him to his Peds doctor while he was here with us for the summer, filed a Police report also and had him seen by a Child Psychologist.

My nephew was a victim of child abuse at the age of 13 months, he looked terrible after what his mother had done to him. Both her children are now in the care of my mother and father and are doing very well since this happened two years ago. I pray to God everyday that this was found in time, so that nothing worse happened. I also pray that she will never get them back.

I loved the video. We should push for longer jail sentences and also, if the parents have a history of abuse, DON'T LET THE KIDS GO BACK TO THEM!!! Also if you see any signs, don't hesitate to report them, because if you do, the more chance the child would end up dead.

How anyone can and would abuse a child is beyond me. There is a difference between abuse and discipline. That is what CPS needs to learn. Many of these kids are killed by Foster Parents.

its very difficult to over come child abuse, and no kid should have to go through that in my opinion,

One of my best friends was secerley absued by her druggy of a father for years...I was always her comfort. We'd huddle up and cry together...I was her truth, her sanctuary.
Then one day, I knew that a true friend wouldn't allow her almost sister to live like this, so i told a teacher at school.
After a few weeks, she now lives with her mom, and I see her happier then she's ever been. =] <3

It is beyond me how someone can abuse a child like that. Kids are beautiful and they are so innocent. I just can't explain what it is that I feel right now, it is a feeling of rage against those that abuse and murder children. It's disgusting. What is even more disgusting is we all know what a problem child abuse is and people just have the nerve to take a stand. One case reported is another case of a safe child. Maybe even a chance at decreasing the numbers.

All I can say is keep the hell away from the police. Don't contact the Customs Assistance Unit, known as The CAU police in Sydney. Keep away from them. It was a cop from there who raped me' and it is them that get off on child abuse victims.

Did you live through Physical abuse? Or Verbal/Mental Abuse?
If you lived through verbal/mental abuse, most state officials don't jump on it right away.
If it was Physical abuse, then Social Services would have taken you out of your home, if there were signs of it. they would have to investigate you and your family.
People care. I don't know where you live, and maybe it was a different time than it is now, but nowadays you spank a kid some people call Social Services...

Very inspirational for those who really want to take a stand, like yourself. And very good for raising awareness on the existence of such a horrible thing. I was a victim when I was younger and ever since, I have taken a stand against it. Thank you for this and thanks to everyone else who cares enough to do what they can to save even just one child.

I would tell your local police or CPS. You can do it anonimously, and they would investigate on it and then if they suspect child Abuse they would intervene. Don't wait. The longer you wait to tell someone, the more your friend gets hurt and it can possibly end up being too late.

wow i have been looking up child abuse videos for s few hours, because i am doing my civics project on lack of enforcment and reported cases, and this is one og the best i have seen. it is hard to find pictures that really show the brutality of it, but you did a good job. Abuse is horrible. Especially emotional abuse. it is extremly unrecognised and very underreported, mostly bc most ppl can't tell between b!tchiness and cruelty. Good job on the video i hope alot of ppl see it.

Amen to this song and video. Yes Lord, please protect your children. I was once in that dark place and you took me out of it- Thank you for that. I, too, would trade my life if it would end this atrocity. Though many abusers get off in our legal system, their harshest judgement is yet to come. It takes a strong-willed person to forgive their abuser; only through God's strength and love can you become that strong- I have. Let the strong help the weak-continue the fight. Keep praying.

I am now 25 years old and my child abuse as a child still has an effect on me. It took me forever to trust women and it took me even longer to trust men because of what happened to me. I was beaten by frying pans screwdrivers broom handels and coat hangers and when ever I got brave enough to hide these mom birth mom or step dad would find somthing else to beat me with. thanx 4 video

I have been touched by this song and the Video, I am in a battle for the safety of my 6 year old grandson who now lives with his mother in Keleen, Tx. She has burned him and his 4 year old borther with Cigaretts and Cigars. I took him to his Peds doctor while he was here with us for the summer, filed a Police report also and had him seen by a Child Psychologist.

My nephew was a victim of child abuse at the age of 13 months, he looked terrible after what his mother had done to him. Both her children are now in the care of my mother and father and are doing very well since this happened two years ago. I pray to God everyday that this was found in time, so that nothing worse happened. I also pray that she will never get them back.

children can't speak up, because then.. the authority will get involved. The only thing they can do to help is take the child away from their home, and their family. Yeah, maybe the'll stop getting abused, but then they'll be stuck in foster homes, or with another realive. It's still nothing like home. Child abuse is terrible though. I can't see why someone would want to harm their child..

This is a very sad clip indeed.
I would also like to stress out that...If anyone suspects that a child they know is getting abused...report it. These children need an adult to rescue them, they can't do it themselves. It would be a good idea to find out the number to child protection in your area.

I loved the video. We should push for longer jail sentences and also, if the parents have a history of abuse, DON'T LET THE KIDS GO BACK TO THEM!!! Also if you see any signs, don't hesitate to report them, because if you do, the more chance the child would end up dead.

Child Abuse is wrong. My cousin was abused from the time she was 6 till her father rescued her when she was 9. I remember when we went to get her.. It was the saddest thing i had ever seen and it will forever be in my mind. I can honestly say i will NEVER abuse a child.

some of the pictures in this were very graphic but it was very necessary. it's shocking how many people still abuse their children and some people do it without knowing. hitting dosen't teach a child wrong from right it just warps their mind and they begin to believe that if they do that again thay'll get hit.
