Lions dont kill animals cause of hate, first of all do you know what risk the lions expose themselves to when they are trying to kill a bufalo? its not like killing a wilderbeast or an Impala, the lions are at GREAT risk of injuring themselfes seriously..

and they will take that risk only because they HAVE TO eat and not because they had something personal against that fubbalo when they were cubs or something

Idiots, there isn't anything special about the lions. In fact, they are the laziest scavengers out there. The hyena and hunting dog are the true carnivore of Africa. Hyenas are the dominant predator in Africa...accounting for nearly 60% of all kills made in Africa!

no, lions are the dominant predator in africa. by dominant i mean the rulling source, apon which all must submit, even hyenas. while lions and hyenas are natural enemies, they fear male lions due to it`s intimidating profile and their willingness to kill any animal that comes their way.

hunting dogs are the most SUCCESFUL predators in africa, but their kills have been takeb from them by lone male lions....which often intimidates the whole group.

There has been sightings and recordings of male lions loosing to packs of hyenas. True, hyenas would rather not tangle with male lions, but that doesn't mean that hyenas won't fight any animal if they are in danger. Books by Hans Krux, Kim Volgner and others show these vital outcomes.

oh, i know all about that. hyenas are a force to be tangled with, but, in general they usually stay away from male lions, though there are cases of hyenas defeating male lions or other animals....and, next to lions, they are the most dominant predators in africa.

No but they kill big cats all the time. Seen the video where a warthog tears a lioness's abdomen. The lioness bled to death. And the Warthog is like 1/5th of the size of a lioness.

Lions hunting in prides doesn't mean they cannot bring down the prey themselve. Often you see that a group works together to set a trap, the open savanna is perfect for flank movement. Furthermore notice that the other lions chase down the prey in the direction of a waiting lioness and it is usually ONE lioness that makes the actual jump on the prey and the kill. With buffalo's its a different story.
