please don't generalize fans and stuff. First off, there will always be fans that just like them based on looks, they're idols. Second, as a guy, I find your comment a bit insulting that I like them just because they are pretty. I knew about them at debut, but followed them once I listened to more of their songs and saw their shows.

Also, at least they have a better balance of fangirls and fanboys than any other group out there. All the other groups tend to be mostly male fans or girl fans.

Hmm I don't think so about the balance. SNSD fans tend to be 80% male. I think the group that has the best balance of male and female would be WG because if you see their concerts, they have a really huge mixture of both genders.

@xc1uless See, that is the misconception people have. They actually have a better ratio of than other groups out there. If you look at the korean fanclubs, their ratio is about 60% male and 40% female, which is way better than other fangroups, male or female. Also, that data is measurable since to join those korean fanclubs, you need to have a korean ID. Your basis is using your eyes on fancams, which is never a good way to say for sure a group has a certain base of fans.

SONE does have a large population of male fans, but when I saw a statistic regarding this, it said SONE is about 59% or so male... meaning that there is a large chunk of female fans too... but hey, DBSK/Super Junior/2PM/etc have female majority fans. I think girl groups tend to have more male fans and boy groups tend to have more female fans. It's just the way it works.

@lalala5251 ITNW actually. I still think its one of their best songs. Also, I followed WG first during that time, but once listened to more of SNSD's music and shows like I said, been a big fan since then. I find them the most interesting group to watch on shows, good music and really unique personalities, including great fanservice to their fans. But their strong family like bond is a great strength I haven't seen in other groups really. They remind me of the female version of Shinhwa.
