  • Hebrew :)

  • khaaaaaa khaaaaaaaaaaaaa lol i love both languages ;)

  • The Hebrew language is very much influenced by the Assyrian language.

Example: Shlomekh & Shlomakh in Assyrian is Shlama alakh or Shlama alokh.

  • im turkish and our language is also close to arabic/hebrew

  • @milanooo159

Really, Turkish isn't close to Arabic or Hebrew in any grammatical sense. What is true is that because of the influence of Islam, Turkish borrowed many words from Arabic, some of those Arabic words are close to Hebrew, and that's why you see a similarity. Also, Ottoman Turkey ruled over most of the Middle East and also loaned words to Arabic, and some of those words also were adopted into modern Hebrew, for example-"Mangal," "Dugri", "Dunam"

  • عسل :)

  • thumbs up for ARABIC ^_^

  • great work , i hope peace will come through people like you

  • Arabic seem beter then hebrew khakhokhi kha

  • @timisoara007 ...hebrew's 'khakhokhi kha' is great for expectorating~ :D

  • איזה חמודות אתן!!! אהבתי את הסרטון...תמשיכו ללמד עברית וערבית....תודה רבה

  • Both Pretty Hahaha i am learning...

  • semitic languages....

  • I think Hebrew is a more comlicated language

  • @xiddox1

wait to see the arabic grammar then choose :P

  • @Francesca1la1coli ^She (I assume from Francesca) speaks the truth!

  • am so surprised how these two languages are similar

  • @damyiaboy assalamualaikum, Semitic languages: Hebrew, Syriac & Arabic are one root for each word, so that they'r very similar, that what i studied in department of Arabic language/ college of Education, AL Mustansiriyah University in Baghdad

  • @jaffarm

they sound different because a certain sound in hebrew is replaced in arabic by another sound, for example: s and sh, v and b, k and kh, if you'll listen yo'll see that when changing those it is quite the same. and they dont use the exact verb that is parallel to the verb in the another language, for example: the verb amala in arabic - in hebrew the main verb for work is avad, but theres another one which is less in use - amal.

  • السلام عليكم is not for the older poeple, it is only formal.

  • @Abusaowod exactly.

  • great video :D thx!

  • all words in hebrew have to have some kkhhhhhhhh arabic is better 100%

  • Arabic is stronger

  • they're completely different O.o

  • God i love this Maha. keep it up sugarlips

  • شالوم لاهيتراوت

  • dont be proud that u can talk arabian and hebrew i am arab from Palestine and we dont like hebrew here dont listen to theese 2 they cant even talk correctly.

  • @amgpownu im Palestinian and i think u should learn ur enemy's language as they learn ours

  • I prefer Arabic. I am trying to learn it...The alphabet is the hardest part to learn!

These languages are so similar, why are the alphabets so different?

  • farsi is much easier to learn than either of these two languages.. they just say salaam... and the girl teaching Arabic is gorgeous... it is funny to see these two together, given the propaganda that the media puts out about these cultures...

  • Live the sense if humour :P I've always wanted to learn Hebrew! It's such a fascinating language! Thanks for the video

  • مها... ملاحظه:

كلمة السلام عليكم لا تقال على الـعجائز oldaer people

تقال لأي شخص أو للمسلمين على الأخص....

  • @Zac658638 محدا بقولها كلنا بنقول مرحبا

  • @Ali1993pl not true, i use السلام عليكم, hi, hey, soo.. whats up, and much, much more combinations every now and then... Btw fyi I'm almost 17 <--- not too old, more like young and green. "alsalam isn't being used" is just for u and those around u, and others who do not remember the value of salam, don't assume something does not exist just because you can't see it. Islam is actually valued by others, you just didn't notice that yet.. Bass allah yihdik inshallah..

  • Sister looks arab and girl in black looks israelí... No offense.

    תובה!

  • @Monkey69Boii

Its the opposite, the girl in black looks like a typical arab girl. Most of Arab girls looks like her. The black hair, the skin colour and the beautiful eyes. Maybe that's why she choose to do the Arabic part : )

  • @Monkey69Boii both are palestinians

  • Shalom aleichem :). You ladies are beautiful, sweet, and I love your humor :). Thank you for posting this video :).

  • ya got an arab accent in your hebrew!

  • Nagham is funny :-)) Good clip, thanks (Arabic speaker learning Hebrew and enjoying the similarities.

  • like like like! peace for Jews and Arabs..you guys did a good job ^^

  • You can never really know a person without speaking their language.

  • I've been learning Arabic, and a-salam alaikoum came up, and marhaben, but the rest... not quite yet haha. Rosetta stone for life.

  • alsalam alaikom isnt formal or for old people.

    its the greeting of islam.

muslims say it to each other.

marhaba is for arabic non muslims.

so if you wanna teach people something.start by teaching yourself the correct information.

  • @WARDGL salam alaikom is an islamic greet for "Peace be upon you." but marhaban is just a normal yet formal greet for Hello. Sabbakhu al khair or Noor is a daygreeting for goodmorning or goodday. Masa al khair is a daygreeting for evening. You can greet a muslim or a non muslim with al these greetings. As long as you are being polite to them.

  • omg the two languages are close to each other , still arabic wins hehe :D

  • May the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ rest upon all human kind ! God Bless !

  • I love both Arabic and Hebrew. But they are hard for Europeans, 'cause they're not Indo-European languages.

  • @094Zlaja Arabic is a hard language, but is really a nice one :) Arabian and proud to be.

  • @094Zlaja these languages are hard for everyone even to god XD

  • i from saudi arabia

    and

    i love israel

  • @i3XOp5 ÌTS CALLED PALESTINE!

  • Arabic is so much more beautiful

  • @easyonetwothree

both beautifull langauge (and people) in their own way

  • Hey girls, I think both languages need a lot of spit in the throat :)) I try to learn hebrew, but I'm a romanian latins speaker.

  • arabic is beautiful but Hebrew mad me sick

  • @arabellaboy you're kind of stupid, hebrew is very similar to Arabic, that's what you can learn from this video dumbass :(

  • I want to ask you , in Hebrew people write from the right side ? Salute from Poland :)

  • @abljoic

    yeah

    and in arabic the same

  • Thank you girls it's nice!

  • Hebrew is disgusting

  • I absolutely love this video! It is a true spark of genius to allow others to see the similarities between the two languages. I am currently learning Hebrew but I hope to learn Arabic in the near future. We are all brothers and sisters and should learn to get along, regardless of religion, ethnicity and language. :) Shalom!

  • i wonder if all israelis can speak arabic??

  • @AntiFob81

not all of us..arab israeli people of course know... the jewish israeli learn it at school so everyone know some basic words..we also use arabic words as a israeli slang somethimes..israelis can of course learn arabic in a higher level but its only people who want to:)

  • This is awsome. You had a wonderful idea with this comparison. Congratulations!

Do you give presential classes? Where would it be?

  • Arabic is way better.

  • Hebrew sounds like you always have something in your throat with those "ch/kh" sounds. Arabic sounds nicer; Arabic is a thousand times better than. Hebrew is for those who have a cold all the time and need to blow their noses. That's just my opinion. Sorry if it is disrespectful for Hebrew speakers.

  • @Navodrock Myman this is because in hebrew are 2 kind of CH,one iz like regular Ch and other like arabic, but only jews that were born in Marocco and Yemen speak like this

  • Arabic is the best ....:)

  • @thesweetxxxgirl That's obvious ;D And Arab Culture is also one of the best all over the World.

  • Hebrew is easier than Arabic..I am 13..Lol..I prefer Hebrew :D

  • nice to see/learn , sjaloom/salam from Holland

  • I love Nagham, I even added her on facebook. lol

  • They are two arabs! Even the "Israeli" speaker has an Arabic accent. I tell it as an Hebrew speaker as a native language. You can see a thick proof of it here: 1:29 , how she pronounce the R letter.

  • hebrew sound is so annoying ... i like arabic sounds tho

  • Its strange how many languages sound the same, its like the ones that sound similer are all from the same place/tribe if you go back far enough in history.

  • Hey Maha and Nagham

    Your channel is great

    Salam Shalom Peace ;)

  • :))

  • We like you too. Salut from France, and nice to both you for this video. Anybody feel powerless front of the problem in Palestin during this late 50 years. You show us that, only with a cam, the Web and your peps, two youngs pretty girls can move things in the good way. Bravo and congratulations. I'm gona send the link to all people I know there believe in mankind. Sorry of my bad english spoken.

she is not at all ugly, she is very nice. And she is not jewish, she is an arab (palestinian) christian living in Israel. both of them are.

  • @GodOfTrance4

she's also an Arab - they're both Arabs, and they did a great job!

  • Syukran from Singapore~!

  • heeey! this is such a fun video! shoukran! :)

also, it's clear that your sister is not used to making videos and she seems very excited. you both are sweet, though. :)

  • man that arabic girl is awesome.... dio baluba!

  • There are a lot of Palestinians that speak hebrew also.. Its not about them getting along.. its a deeper rooted problem than that. Israelis and Palestinians interact and get along everyday..

  • arabs and jews are cousins , they are both go back to abraham , they are both semetic so thats why the arabic language is similar to the hebrew , I'm a muslim arab palestenian living in israel/palestine and I have so many great jewish friends , the real arabs and the real jews are against war and fighting with each other , we are brothers

  • @loaihamada i don't care about your stupid friends , as long as those guys steal Palestine lands , they will be my enemy for ever !

  • @loaihamada you right, before the israel is exist, the arabians and the jewish were live very peace together.

  • @loaihamada peace brother :)

  • @loaihamada and to be more specific the whole worlds population is brothers and cousins from Ancient Iraq where creation began between the Tigris and Euphratese rivers and all languages can trace back to the original world wide language they go together like a jigsaw puzzle. As for Israel God owns the whole universe its not his will for people to fight over a small plot of land, thats mans pride and greed in action. It everyones Holy Land and we all have a right to it.......

  • @loaihamada dont say arabs... say muslims cuz not only muslims are arabs there are also jews and christians! :)

  • this video is great! BUT you better teach the arabic street language becouse the arabic ur teaching died in more than 500 years ago, official documents is the only use for it now! personaly if someone came to me and said kaif haloka? trust me il die laughing

  • Really? Hebrew Vs Arabic ? Im Jewish myself and do we really have to fight over which language is better? Wow, just wow, both languages are great . I live in an arabic area so you cant prove me wrong.

  • Definitively arabic language much more better than hebrew ...

hebrew i heard just kh kh kh kh kh kh kh kh kh kh kh @@! it looks like pigs sound

  • Salam Alikoum

    nice video

    very good

ca me fait un grand plaisir de voir ca

  • For my Italian ears the two languages sound very similar, some guttural tones are like german. Probably to for middle east natives Italian and French or Spanish would sound as much similar. Definitively a very pleasant and interesting video. I agree with some of the comments, "it would be a pleasure for all the world to see peace among arabs and jews"

  • PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS HERE. LEARNING SOMETHING AS IN A SCHOOL, SHOULD BE W/O ANY CHILDISHNESS OR THOUGHTLESS VERBAL TANTRUMS.

    THANK YOU.

  • 55555555555555555555555555555555555 this is hebrew

  • when Nagam do it with her face it sounds so funny

    thanx

  • go arabic

  • Hebrew sounds like your trying to spit.

  • "Marhaban" is originally a turkish word due to the influence of the ottoman conquest of the arab nations.... plz make that clearr.. XD.... annd btw u and ur sister r cute

  • @Azardinho

Actually you mean the opposite, the world "Marhaban" is used in Arabic for more than 1500 years ago which before there was a country called Turkey, but due to the influence of the Islamic empire, the Turkish people started to use it. such like many other Arabic words that influenced the Turkish language. more than 30% of the Turkish language contains Arabic words, and do not forget the Arabic alphabet that it had been used in Turkish. Check your information before post anything.

  • @Azardinho

Marhaban is originally from Arab not turkey

Ottoman & turkish nation have influenced by arab because they all are muslims

  • @royaltornado oh just ignore him, Turks always claim other people's stuff ;)

  • two crazy ones but very funny! you see how easy to live in peace!?!...

  • Shukran Jazilan! Toda Raba! Very nice lesson, our languages are so similar and so beautiful.

Very nice you're teaching the fus7a language, you should also teach the 3amiya! :)

  • יאזה יופי!

  • @TVjuiceboxiz HA! like is gonna happen! LOL!

  • @TheIkawatay In Israel it does. Around 20% of the population in Israel is arab, so a lot of people have arab friends and get along with them without any problems.
