ASSALAMU LAIKUM RUNA APA. PEOPLES SAID YOU CAN PLAY ENGLISH SONG,BUT I NEVER HEARD.IF POSSIBLE PLEASE DOWN LOAD ANY KIND OF ENGLISH SONG.YOUR URDU,HINDI,BENGALI SONG IS FANTASTICK. I AM AMEER FROM UK.
although bangla song by runa laila but pakistani peoples are enjoying this song very much.this song first sang by ferdousi rahman daughter of abbas uddin ahmed. from my boyhood i like this song very much even wated for this song many times near the radio. still this song is very famous in bangladesh.
it is nice to know our bengali language has got respect in a country such as pakistan. i hope it continues this way, just shows that music is a universal language-i bet most of the audience don't understand the words of this song, but they seem to enjoy it.
i only wish we had had more respect when there was still time. i still shudder when i think what we did to our bengali brothers and sisters... that is an endless pain that will always remain...

@Asif410 thanks for the upload. its really heartwarming to see a Bangladeshi artist has so much prominence in Pakistan. i apologize for any disrespectful comment towards you and the people of Pakistan. people sometimes just cant separate ordinary people and culture from dirty politics. Peace
when i watch those old urdu film song on utube and see so many extremely talented Bangali actors musicians singers in those clips it amaze me how creative are them
i wish people of Bangladesh all the best and ask them to treasure their old gold artist like Runa Laila, Shehnaz Begum coz they born maybe once in 100 year
there are millions of bengalis living in karachi .. which is a good sign...
whatever has happened in 1971 with the people of East Pakistan (Bangladesh) was a big sazish by india and western powers, which was further handled badly by (West) Pakistan's Military-cum-Punjabi Establishment and feudal lords of that time.
Wow what a good song and thanks a lot Asif for the such valuable info that you provided us all. I definately didn't know she had a sis who was married to Amin Fahim. he is a Sindhi and she was a Bangali. That must have been fun. Wish both countries were still together or atleast close.

@hirokkar1
ur comments shows what kind of retard and narrow mind stupid person you really are!!!!
you say 30 million people got killed if even only 3 was killed that doesn't make that any less tragedy
whatever was Pakistan part in that awful tragedy more then that was caused by it narrow minded terrorist thugs like ur self
people like ur self are lowest of low in humanity sad but true.
you are a scum who thrives on spreading hatred and fear among ordinary people and pollute graceful humans.
