The 2000s produced a lot of "celebrities" who were celebrities just for the sake of being celebrities (Kardashians, Hiltons, etc.). It's similar to the movie "Ass" that won all those Oscars in 2505, but instead of a movie that wins awards and offers no substance, we have people who become famous for shallow reasons. Fame these days is cheapened.
I find a lot of american tv pretty idiotic, here in Australia we have copied a lot of the crap, with competative cooking shows, exploitive talent shows, home renovation garbage, show that are basically big adverts dressed up as reality television... But people buy it, sure TV has sold out but its been selling out for years, just a shame the growth is exponential. Find I watch more British shows now, docs are great (as long as its not about sharks or nazis) and still finding those rare comedies.

You're gonna talk about dead TV shows? They killed Firefly without even finishing seasnon 1, back in 2002. Fox threw it in favor of shit like "Survivor." I didn't know about this show until I saw it on Netflix last year, but after I saw all the episodes, I almost cried because of how good it was, and what will never be (and I'm not even that emotional about family or friends getting hurt).

I'm 15, and I fear a future where it has become overwhelming populated with idiots. Everyday I see more and more stupid kids, to stress this, one of my classmates recently asked what DEMOCRACY was. I go to any public place and see stupid people my age, and even at the start of the year when I was joining my soccer team, I struggled to find one intelligent person.

It's similar to the movie "Ass" that won all those Oscars in 2505, but instead of a movie that wins awards and offers no substance, we have people who become famous for shallow reasons. Fame these days is cheapened.

I find a lot of american tv pretty idiotic, here in Australia we have copied a lot of the crap, with competative cooking shows, exploitive talent shows, home renovation garbage, show that are basically big adverts dressed up as reality television... But people buy it, sure TV has sold out but its been selling out for years, just a shame the growth is exponential. Find I watch more British shows now, docs are great (as long as its not about sharks or nazis) and still finding those rare comedies.

You're gonna talk about dead TV shows? They killed Firefly without even finishing seasnon 1, back in 2002. Fox threw it in favor of shit like "Survivor." I didn't know about this show until I saw it on Netflix last year, but after I saw all the episodes, I almost cried because of how good it was, and what will never be (and I'm not even that emotional about family or friends getting hurt).

I go to any public place and see stupid people my age, and even at the start of the year when I was joining my soccer team, I struggled to find one intelligent person.

Although taurine is found in many mammal intestines, it is most certainly not obtained en masse from this source for consumption. It would be much more difficult to isolate enough from intestines than it would be just to simply synthesize this chemical industrially (a very simple molecule: NH2-CH2-CH2-SO3H). That is, in fact, where almost all of our taurine comes from. Please, research things--or at the very least just think about it--before spreading misinformation. Don't believe rumors.

We do have a few percentage points of the population with intelligence, but rather than rebel against the system they just fit in with politically correct platitudes and go along to get along. Taurine really isn't a stimulant, nor is there enough data on it to determine how bad for the body it is. It probably isn't good for one, but we don't know yet. And a lot of compounds come from odd places. Take penicillin for example...

Smart people are having fewer babies while the dumbest, most profoundly retarded people are popping out more babies. Normally dumb, lazy people would be weeded out by evolution since they can't take care of themselves, but with welfare, free food, section 8 housing, free healthcare, and rewards for popping out babies prevalent, they're free to thrive like cockroaches. In the past intelligent, hard working immigrants wanted to come here, now all we get are unskilled laborers from Mexico.

can't argue with that logic. sadly, a federal appeals court struck down mandatory birth control for welfare recipients a couple of decades ago. I taught in an urban school district briefly a few years ago where I had students with 8 and as many as 14 siblings. Multigenerational abject poverty that the reactionary religious right in this country exacerbated with their irrational anti-abortion rhetoric while complaining about their taxes.

@tachote I actually agree with you about one thing, white people need to do their own dirty work and work with their hands. I always bus my own trays and throw out my trash in restaurants. I always try to help waiters and workers, by holding doors for them as they move carts in and out. I purposely mow my own lawn, to make a statement, plus I can't afford to hire anyone. I think all folks around the world need to revolt against the corrupt "new world order". I try to be a kind white man.

In the USA and the West, business and political leaders seem to eagerly want to dumb down the population, I think so that they can be more easily exploited and controlled. Problem is, the whole system is weighted down with enormous cost, debt and total lack of productivity. I'm all for helping people too dumb to cope, but in return they should yield space to the more intelligent by practicing serious birth control. Things are crazy.

Back when there were fewer dumb people in our country it was harder to control, look at the 60's we had more people going to college than ever to keep from getting drafted but getting an education none the less. They got so educated that we almost had a revolution in this country when they woke up and realized what was going on. Now the rest of the world is getting smarter and we are getting dumber, we would have more higher paying jobs here if we had more engineers and scientists that we need.

Not trying to punk you or anything but Taurine is generated naturally in the human body (though not to the same degree as cows). Taurine is necessary for normal skeletal muscle functioning *wikipedia.
It was first isolated from the bile of a bull - that part's true. I'm guessing in large quantities the kidneys have a problem with it and there are some toxicity issues.
