Well said! Hearing people spend years analyzing English grammar, literature, linguistics, phonology, morphology, etc. Deaf people should have the same advantage when it comes to ASL.

I agree. I had to learn about deaf culture by a thick orange book. Sorry, I forgot what the title was. They also forgot to teach facial expression at ASL classes.
