If you want a professional flat iron and you are ok with spending around $140 I would highly recommend the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it heats up to 450f with temperature control, dual voltage, tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair. Also has a 3 year warranty. If you do look at other irons make sure to stay away from irons with painted plates (colored plates) these can damage your hair.

I HAVE THET SAME ONES BUT I HAVE THE MINI ONES AND THEY GET HOTTER THAN A MOTHERFUCKER AND THEY R GOOD FOR SPIKES AND FLIPS AND GET CLOSE TO THE SCALP LIKE THE EDGES

I have them as well, they are amazing!!! i'm so in love with this iron, my hair is quite thick, and wavy, and this flattens my hair really fast, and it looks so shiny and healthy

yes normal price is $169 . These are pro irons used by hair stylist. Up until a few years ago they were not available to the general public just licensed cosmo prof. They are better than the chi and fhi, I have both and I can see the difference. This leaves my hair shinny and silkier than my chi.
