  • Left that bike in da dust

  • here's a question how many of you have been to the track with your stock bike and ran what the brochure says?

  • you can here the bike poppin like its still in 3rd gear w o t. and as far as moded street cars eatin up liter bikes, it dont happen. were talkin low 9sec for a street car to just beat a liter bike. it is what it is people.

  • @biggiesmack how many people do you know that can take a stock 9 sec. bike into the 9's cuz idk any most are running around 11's-12's at best, they aren't pro racers driving a stock bike, I've raced against zx6r's and gsxr750's in an 11 sec. fwd honda and the races were always close if at a dead stop, a 40 roll+ is no easy task with out the hp to back it up that is where you want a supra or something crazy that holds power and top end really well.

  • @biggiesmack funny, a guy (robert valenzuela) here in my town has a street legal GN tht runs bout a 9.2 1/4 mi, sorry, but the only good bike in my opinion is the dodge tamohawk, and ur rite bout the guy on the bike did sound like he kept it in 3rd too long

  • Bullshit! The 750 rider must be a grandma. The 750 runs a 10:39/ 135 mph quarter mile. The Grand national took off way too slow to run that !

  • hahahaha, bring you shitty bike over here to Germany, and lets see what you got on the autobahn. A bike will NOT outrun a car at high speeds, of course NO ONE will believe that until they love the life haha. Same on the Nürburgring. I have been in a X3 even (a damn SUV), and passed bikes all day long on the track.

  • I love the sound of that engine when it passes the camera

  • my big bore crf50 sounds louder than that gsxr 750 passing hahahaha

  • I know it seems hard to believe that a car can run with a bike cause when you hammer on a 1 litre motorcycle they haul some serious ass. But the reality is that there are "modified" street cars that can eat bikes up all day long.

  • Press 6 repeatedly to hear a car-gasm.

  • have you gone against a R1??? Just wondering....

  • yo what road is this on?

  • GN was bookin', what does it have in it? there's no way that's stock.

  • fake video, A car that can beat a bike.

  • @ttetomer

Not fake at all... Its possible.. Especially with a GN..

  • Search "gixxer k7 vs buick grand national" to see how the race goes with a real bike rider.

Stock GSXR 1000's are close to the 9 second quarter STOCK! No way you can handle a 1000. Nice kill but it is like beating up a 12 year old and saying you are a tough guy.

  • looks like that 750 needs a turbo...try a busa next time. love them GNs

  • That's wat I need rite there

  • Good race for the car drive but... you can hear how the guy on the gsxr was shifting clearly he cant race. there is no way a car could get off the line, out handle and or oout brake a bike.

  • @mmayo02 i can beat a bike off the line but then he rapes me 3 seconds later lol

  • stock?

  • that's a fast f'n car. I own a 750 gsxr, and that's a fast f'n car!!!!

  • 750... dusted :(

  • DAMN!!! Gotta love the GN's 4 people watched this vid proved that they are bikers!! and nothing wrong with bikers, just saying,......................don't hate

  • NICE KILL love the grand nationals alway's and yes a car can beat a bike and vice versa but you don't run into a 9 sec national on the street everyday so most everyone the kid on the bike runs against at red light will get spanked but u have to alway's love a car that can throw down with ya!

  • LOL. crotch rocket gets punked.

  • Bikes will beat cars and cars will beat bikes. Regarding; Better driver, bigger bike, NOS, turbo, cheaper, blah, blah, blah, . . . . All excuses. Whatever your poison is, If/When you choose to line up, you better be ready . . . . . . The GSXR got punked in this race, PERIOD!!

  • @MrDeathwish13 lmfao !! The bike is already close to 3000lb.s lighter. And now you need a turbo to beat a heavy ass car? hahahahahahahaha

  • @TwiztedTurbo the bike in stock trim should be able to post high 9's low 10s wit a pro rider and 600's can do so wit some basic mods LOOK it UP superstreet bike test zx600r.... air filter and an exhaust, tuned, extended 6+ and the most important a quick shifter..... get on a bike that can FULL THROTTLE SHIFT...... oh and bye the way how much money does it cost to make a car that fast"alot" bike..... CHEAP comparedly

  • @onefastsuby LOL

  • A ZR1 with a really good driver is at least a second slower than that GN. Your Busa would get smacked down hard.

  • my stock busa would beat that car i smoked a z1r vette

  • @macdaddy1600 LOL a stock ZR1 doesnt run 9's either dumbass.

  • @macdaddy1600 dude no offence but that national in the vid aint no vette hahah.

but im sure it would be a good race. XD

  • @MrDeathwish13

GSXR 750s do develop 150Hp @ 163kg curb weight which means it´s actually got a by far better power to weight ratio than a first gen Yamaha R1 (150Hp @ 177! kg) for example

GSXR 750 power to weight ratio: 1.0kg/hp

Ninja ZX10r (also known as the HAYABUSA killer) power to weight ratio: 0.95kg/hp

so how is the GSXR 750 not a supersportsbike

  • @MrDeathwish13 woow - you´re one nerd seriously.

beating a supersportsbike in a street legal 4 seater car is impressive especially since many 500.000+€ 2 seater supersportscars can barely keep up with those bikes. if you´re not able to appreciate bike killing cars dont watch those vids dumbass

  • macdaddy1600, I highly doubt it your Bussa is a 9 Second bike.

  • that video dont prove shit it could be a set up.. my busa would spit that car out all day long

  • @macdaddy1600 A setup huh? You should go race him with your Busa if you think its a setup. I will be the same outcome. You will be at least a half second behind and not gaining any ground. That car has been running over 140mph in the quarter for more than a few years bud. If you Busa is not heavily modded to take advantage of the power down low and you are not running with a slick and bar you are going to get beat badly.

  • @bison548 ppl with bikes have the misconception that no cars can beat them.

  • A 750 is not going to beat that Grand National at that high of altitude. I would bet there aren't very many bikes that will beat that car anyway in any condition. So whats the point of arguing? Anyway, carry on..... Nice GN

  • if that's about a quarter mile, then that must be an 8 second car, because the 750 is a 10 second bike.

  • Geesh that's one nice GN! Fast too!!

  • nice gn..thats how u do it!

  • I have a stock GN and I mean bone stock. I have out ran 750 bikes also. I guess when people look at this car as a V6 turbo they compare it to other V6 turbos, but Buick got it right when they designed this set up. These cars were the fastest production cars in 1986-87. These cars launch very hard. I can't see why it is hard to see that these cars can out run a bike. Yes bikes are quick because they are light weight but they don't have the torque.

  • @walkerscranger you must be talking about 750's from the 1800's!! A stock Gixxer 750 will do a 10.70 1/4. Your stock GN and I mean bone stock probably does a 12.7 at best

  • @ohioguyshakes You can shout numbers all day, but when the tires hit the pavement the results are a little different.

  • @walkerscranger don't worry, I'm not one of those "a car can never beat a bike" guys. I have a K9 Busa and it's pretty damn fast, but I'm sure there are a couple cars running around town that will give me a run. I guess I AM guilty of being a numbers guy. So to you, I say "my bad", and you are correct, anything can happen in a race.

  • @ohioguyshakes who has stock GN's?

  • can easily hear that the bike aren't pushing it to the limit in this video o.0

  • Why is everyone commenting as if this ugly buick is stock?? It isn't stock and when you mod a car SURE it can beat a bike..NO big deal , it isn't stock.. What year Gixxer? it looks like an older model to me.

  • To my defense, The kid on the bike told me that he had a 9.50 bike and there was no way a car could beat him. I was not trying to pick on him or anything. i was rather curious how he got a 750 to run 9s especially since we are at 4700' ele. Turns out he had just never raced it at a track and was estimating. ;).

  • my dad has a 87 gn for sale if interested message me !

  • "There is no way a car can beat a bike".... Ya i get that a lot. That is how i make money with that car. I assure you the kid could ride and was "on it" all the way through. I have run 142 in the 1/4 and i don't think that 750 will do quite that fast. Funny it is so hard to believe....

    Race Jace

  • 142mph trap. I'm guessing you're somewhere in the 9's?

    Fantastic car.

  • i realize that it is a more of a dead point now, but in the first video (of the launch) u can hear that bike going through like 4 gears really quick. a 9 second car against a 750cc bike...u sure as hell out ran him. :) amazing car

  • @reconup good call man,, if youre puttin down 140+ in the 1/4 he will be admiring your tailites the whole way,, i think i ran low 130s on my stock 2001 gsxr 750 when it was new

  • @reconup 750 does like 162 top. not hating

  • @reconup holy crap. never seen street race that strong against a bike. my literbike runs 141.2mph in the 1/4, so i can't imagine how hard you'd pull in a roll-on against a 1000

  • I know very well that the GN is a crazy fast car, but I ride and the biker either was not trying very hard, or is not a very confident rider. You can ever hear it when he passes in the end. the bike was NOT fully on it. Too bad the rider didn't have a tank cam because you all would have noticed that. Still a fast car no doubt, just not a very accurate race.

  • true because motor cycles are really fast and you have to be really fast to beat one, dont get me wrong, the GN are fast but the race does not look right

  • @markieth21 I agree, the biker sandbagged to make the car look faster. It's a staged race.

  • Race looks very right to me though. It would be a different story if the GN were racing a Turbo Hyabusa, but I can see it handling a GSXR 750 though. One thing that people overlook is the 200R4 tranny, as it maintains 4th gear when in wide open throttle (it doesn't kick down into 3rd like the 700R4's of the 80's did), so top speed won't be a problem for the turbo regal, especially if he were running 3.23's out back....

  • thats some mad max shit

  • Thats movin.

  • Don't be sick.You are racing against a Buick...

  • LOL there was this guy who HAD a gsxr 750, he thought so much of it that he laughed at my brother's 1983 v65 magna, yea the dude sold the gsxr days after he got owned by a 25+ year old bike..

  • Was that Knight Rider? LOL

  • that is a sick fast GN. taking off fast on a bike is way harder than a car. and that dude has a older looking gixxer. i have 06 gsxer1000 with slip on exhaust, an air filter, and a power commander. that would rape that bike. in a 1/4 mile i dont even think i would get a chance to get in 4th gear.

  • dam

  • Ken Duttweiler built a 6 sec 86 T- type with a buick v6, the only bikes that run 6s run on nitro methane

  • This particular GN has a best time of 9.35 in the 1/4 mile. Do GSXR's 750s or 1000 run that in stock form?

  • Gsxr 750 = Driver error .

  • GSXR 750 vs this GN = GN is just too bad ass, better driver doesn't help.

  • FUCK that shit got smoked!!

  • Bike lost because he can't ride or wasn't trying at all. Bad race.....seriously guys.

  • BS, he lost because he went up against the wrong car period!

  • mate just to let u know i dont even know what a GN is,all i know is it takes a lot to beat a bike with a car

  • Yes it does! This Grand National, Turbo Buick Regal, is a very well built one. The owner of this car owns RJCRacing.

  • wow if what you say is true then im impressed, not sure on 1/4 mile times on gsxr but im sure would be close to 9, guess depends on take of and experience. as long as your not a one eyed freak then i have no reason to doubt what you say

  • "as long as your not a one eyed freak" - LOL. Close, but since I still have two that saves me. I've had conversation with the owner of this car. He also has this video posted on his website. The race is legit, the driver's skill, well these guys met at the track so you would think the guy on the bike would have some skill.

  • wow cool, by one eyed freak i mean so fanatical you cant see anything past what you like,

  • Don't doubt the Grand National. When I get one I think my license plate will say, "DONTEST" or maybe "DNTTEST" or "DNTRYIT"

  • I had a GN and was gonna get the personalized plate IEATV8S.

  • No fuckin' way. That bike was going waaaay the fuck slow. That dude couldn't ride or something. Yeah the bike lost but it shouldn't have. It didn't even sound right when it went passed the camera. That's a badass car either way though. Always been a fan of GN and GNX's but there's no waaay that race was legit. That bike was sandbagging. The bike passed the cameraman at like maybe 90. He shoulda been over 120mph by that time. Nice GN though. Always loved that car. Fuck I miss my car...

  • The particular GN in this video runs well in the 9s. Even a 1 liter bike wouldn't stand a chance. I am always amused by people that think that there's no possible way for a car to be faster than a bike. A fair share of them have seen the taillights of my turbo Buick.

  • sweet line bro

    keep showin them your tails

    love that boost baby!

    POOF!

  • right, but stock car vs stock bike no chance. so forget tuned cars

  • The dude on the bike is the one who said there was no way this GN could compete.

  • @sinusbrady, love your name. so cool, but im sur this guy is tachy

  • I just noticed this post. I ended up educating myself on basic cardiology because of an arrhythmia I had. I had several bouts of atrial flutter w/2nd degree av block mobitz type 1,I have the rhythm strip of one of the occurrences, and I was tachy for about 3 or 4 months. Thankfully, it was benign and resolved itself. So you can probably figure out why I chose this username.

  • well sounds like you learnt more than just basic cardiology, cool name but wish i thought of it. just need to keep a watch on it, easy to dismiss suttle changes and signs.

  • Interesting that you say that, about keeping an eye, my cardiologist told me not to worry and go on with my life. My last work up was 05. If you are interested, I do have one other for you. Within 48 hours of my perceived 1st arrhythmia I developed hyperhidrosis of the hands. Dr originally attributed it to anxiety. This one has not resolved itself. Even with taking anti-anxiety medication. I can take Norflex, mild anti-cholinergic, and that seems to help. Dx now - idiopathic hyperhidrosis!

  • yeah i guess if you stress about it that will only make matters worse and you wond be able to enjoy life, do you have any medical back ground, you seem to use terminolgy well, ie dx. My brother always said sweaty palms means you maturbate, i was 18 before i realised he was taking the piss, have you looked at natural products or googled it to find a cure.

  • That's. As stated RJC GN. I read on RJCRacing about this and how the guy on the bike was so sure that he would smoke the GN along with his giggling girlfriend. Wonder if left with the guy in the GN? Of course there is no way that GN is faster than that bike, so it had to be the rider. As always. Also see a lot of the same comments when GN beats a Supra. It has to be the driver.

  • @chewbaccathedog ahahahhahaha this made me rush fucking right!!!! man thease cars are mental cases!! i seen thease things moddeds run 11,s with ease all day!!! this is even quicker and looks fucking awsome to.. i would love to own one.. anyone know this price for one of thease?

  • I was thinking that maybe the bike went ahead and let off before the finish because he was losing so bad, but then you hear it going by the finish SCREAMING... so it seems pretty legit to me... Just a fast friggin Grand National.

  • It's crazy what people will say to "prove" they're right when they've just been proven wrong with facts. Anyway this is a very very nice GN, and obviously is well tuned!

  • martrg you r correct you only have 100 percent traction when you sitting still and yes the foot print of a car is a lot better than a bike even to compare the 2 is crazy dollar for dollar the bike will rule! it just depend's on your taste that's all

  • sav DERRRR ther all v6. gn gnx T type. They all have turbos.

  • yes sir they do

  • This looks like RJC Racing's car. If so, it runs mid 9's at over 140mph in the quarter. A stockish GSXR 750 runs more like mid to high tens depending on rider.

  • n963ac not to be rude but yeah it says it in the details on the side other there on the side of the screen it's RJC

  • Yep, looks like I am retarded. Never noticed that details box before.

  • dude on the bike clearly doesnt know how to ride.

  • bloody oath, i also noticed they muted the video just so you cant hear the bike just cruisin, i hate videos like this, its all bull shit

  • Hate all you want. There are plenty of haters, especially when it comes to GNs.

  • i think was happend was he clearly lost haha

  • .. Buick Grand Nationals are BAAAAAAAAD TO THE BONE! .. from, a girl who has owned 4 of them. just can't stay away. .. i LUUUUUUV 'EM!

  • get a charger it ll piss all over it

  • is that the stock turbo charged v-6?

  • i know its not stock but it probably is the v-6

  • you can make some big power out of the motors of the GN

  • guy on a bike was a puss worried about the wheel lifting what was that i wouldve tryed to beat him on one wheel haha...

    love those gn's

  • stfu everybody

  • you know what, dude stepped up with his bike knowing what he was facing, and got his ass handed to him, you spend a lot of time trying to figure out why, as the proud owner of 3 GN's let me sum it up for you, because his bike was slower than the car.

  • Ummm, TITO.......Who the hell said the GN was stock?? Does it even matter?? Who runs anything "stock" anymore?? Please, read my PREVIOUS post and do some research before making stupid posts. You obviously know absolutely nothing about GN's........

  • QuickBuick, engage your brain to the keyboard, and read what I wrote: A stock GN has no chance against a 750cc bike", and obviously this car is not stock, make a few modds to that bike and let's see who smokes who.

  • yea no dont think so buick would still take that bike out like nothing

  • I've Done That in Mine!!...v-6 buick turbo, a/c,apline 93 octain an seat 6...;^)

  • All you guys saying 'no way a car, Buick, bla bla bla' can beat a bike. Do me a favor. Check YouTube. Punch in "Buick Grand National". The quickest one has run the 1/4 in SIX SECONDS. There's LOTS of em that run 8's-9's. And for the idiots that say 'it's only a 750', well that GN will smoke just about any street bike. If you knew what it runs the 1/4 in you would agree with me....

  • a stock GN has no chance against a 750cc bike, maybe a 250cc ninja

  • Tito, who said the GN was stock? GNs have alot of potential. They can be awakened by just higher boost, stronger tranny, and maybe stronger heads.

  • OMG first vid iv'e seen where a car beats a bike, even though the car is tuned to the bollocks and the bike is probably stock it's still fast.

  • Check out the lingenfelter corvette vs hayabusa.

  • yep that's what a GN looks like beating a bike, car, space shuttle, ICBM hehe

  • Something like this almost never happens when you ride a sport bike... that car is legitimately fast.

  • PLz ur racing a 750, why dnt u put dat up against a hayabusa or a zx-14, and then tell me u can beat a bike, and (crizzdizz222) if u lower a bike and extend the back wheel it wont pop up regadless of how fast u take of, wich is the case wit my bike i ride a 2007 kawasaki zx-14 stock only lowered and extended and i ride 8.89 in 1/4 mile and im only 18..qIT TILL I GET BETTER

  • ugh. what a waste of research and demand. even though zx-14s and 'busas are made for fat old guys who cant lean, its still such a waste of so much R&D that is put into those bikes to just stretch it out. what good is a sportbike if you cant turn? haha. and, the last thing an 18 year old needs is a 14. you should be riding a 600 at most. but hey, i'm sure you know it all and think you're the shit. you'll learn. (i doubt you're telling the truth anyway.)

  • I dont mean to insult your interests, but there are a lot of 16-17 year old kids running around youtube pretending they're 18, and acting like they do/have a lot more than they really do. and believe it or not, it's blatantly obvious. if you really have that shit, lets see pictures. Here are my toys: s216.photobucket(dot)com/albums/cc264/smminco1/

  • a good car will always beat a midsize bike in top speed. past a 1/4 and the bike doesnt have a chance. i love those buicks though

  • That Buick GN is incredible...

  • a sportbike isnt designed to drag race, for one. they are designed after moto gp bikes, not drag bikes. also if you put the same money into a bike that you do a car, a bike is going to spank the car, untill you get to a certain point then traction starts giving the advantage to the car, plus bikes like to wheelie and do so with little effort, which works against you. for the most part when you guys are comparing bikes and cars your comparing apples and oranges.

  • I love all the naysayer's who say a car can't beat a bike. It happen's all the time and i've beat them myself with my GN. So keep posting, i'll keep laughing!!

  • U got a stock car?

  • A stock GN wouldn't beat a 600, let alone a 750

  • No way you can beat a proper motorbike with any car, bullshit you must be racing 125-250cc bikes to win them.

  • you are completely wrong. there are plenty of cars out there that can take a bike in the 1/4. not only that, but an F1 car spanks a motogp bike around the track as well. dont get me wrong, i love bikes. i race. but bikes are not invincible.

  • No they aren't invincible but they are very light and well tuned, also the only reason why F1 beats Motogp bikes is because motogp is only 500cc class, they are talking of making them bigger cc for better acceleration, top speed and mid speed. If they do make them bigger cc then they will be a lot faster than F1. But your right at the moment about F1 being faster, reason why they don't make motogp faster is because they fear they will be too hard for most of the riders to handle.

  • where do i start? you have no clue what you're talking about. first off, MotoGp is not limited to 500cc. MotoGp bilkes are around 900-1000cc. They are over 200hp and top out around 200mph. MotoGp being slower than F1 has NOTHING to do with regulation. race cars handle corners better than motorcycles, and race cars out-brake motorcycles, both mainly because cars have 4 flat contact patches, while motorcycles have 2 curved ones. An F1 car outbrakes a motorcycle, then corners at a higher speed.

  • On acceleration and mid speed bikes are better, once out a corner motorbikes can flog it and accelerate out corners very fast, as motorbikes lean round corners it improves grip loads by all the pressure going downwards rather than outwards like cars do, also motorbikes are really lightweight so the braking isn't much different, same with corners but on twisties and acceleration they are a lot faster, and with the new crossplane crankshaft they can go through corners at high speeds.

  • Dude you've got it wrong... The bike can only accelerate so fast due to the front wheel lifting. Second cars CAN outcorner and outbrake bikes when well set up. It's all about the contact patches. Two the sizes of a credit card or 4 the sizes of a men's size 11 shoe?

And the crossplane crankshaft doesn't do anything for cornering, it allows the rider to control wheelspin better. I'm Yamaha and Suzuki factory certified, I know what I'm talking about...

  • correct. contrary to popular belief cars do corner better than bikes

  • sure ya do buddy!!!lets see... biker asked to run jake said sure, bike lost!!! hmm complicated,, all bikers feel a "i go faster than anything euphoria"...till they lose...lmaorofl

  • i myself have a 9sec street/strip gn and it's not very well in reliability but i love the stairs i get =)

  • So kenfoO just in case you didn't know bikes are meant to race bikes and cars are meant to run cars... there clearly an advantage for the bike any day. but the rare moments when you do see a car beat a bike it's priceless!!! GN FTW!!!!

  • hahahaahahahahaahahaha yeah cool Jixer!!!! Turbo Buicks 4 LIFE!!!!

  • silly. the gixxer rider clearly can not ride. a '94 750 runs a 1/4 in 11.15 at 118mph. Therefore, the difference in the race is one of ability, not performance. Children, these are called "facts".

  • Bro the Grand National is the pinnacle of ugly fastness! I am now convinced it is the craziest car of them all.

  • Sorry bud, that car is a mid 9 sec car. Bike never had a chance. ability won't lose a race by a gap that big. Listen to how hard that bike running.

  • YEp that bike was revving its balls off

  • whats under the hood I still can bealive it beet a bike I give mad props to the owner he buil that GN the way all GNs should be built!

  • I'm just wondering why did the guy on the bike come past the camera 30mph :D

  • already let off watch the start of the race the buick is indeed fast as fuck

  • This video is just bullshit.. :D

  • you are bullshit

  • nah-ah...YOU are!

  • .lol. i was commenting maestro

  • No joke, it's a 9 sec street car. Bike never stood a chance.

  • Buick GNX is a 3.8L Turbo, 276HP/380Torque factory rating. Though most I've seen on a dyno are closer to 300hp/400torque.

  • Love that engine hum

  • What the hell is in that thing-specifically

    I know its a Turbo'd 6

  • NICE ENDING..

  • Ive personally seen this car go a 9.73 at BG. Stock block buy the way.

  • Got to love RJC Racing !!!!!!!!!!

  • dude 170 top end not in the qtr and thats a 9 sec. turbo car .
