whoah, a 9.2!? so how is your house still standing? or were you just kidding... hahaha, just read that second part where you said you bumped the camera. GREAT vid nonetheless because i plan on getting one of these babies at the next gun show in my city if the price is right... aka if i have enough money and it's the finish i want. would you be able to do a video of lubing up the parts, with like the type of oil, the different parts you put oil on, how you apply it, etc?
I'm with you about the oil. I have the 44 magnum desert eagle in black finish and I use hopes ELITE gun oil and I have had zero jams with magtech ammunition keeping the bolt and gas pin oiled well.
It's a pain. I have a scratch on my frame because of it. The way I got it was to first insert the one side of the spring into the slide release. The slide release was not pushed all the way into the frame. Then I pushed the slide release further into the frame. Then using like a toothpick or something of the sort, I lowered the spring down until I got it in the hole in the frame. This took me several tries and was one of the hardest gun related things I've ever done. Hope that helps you some.
can you make a video to help me out theres something wrong with my gun i have the same thing when i pull the thing in the back of the gun back it wont shoot and my gun wont cok back please help me out
I had the exact same feeding or jamming problem with my .44 magnum that you described in this video. I actually sent mine back to magnum research. They polished the ejector and the bolt. Took a bur off of the extractor, and put in a different extractor spring. I don't know why they had to do all that on a brand new gun but, I'm guessing I got a bad apple. A lot of it might have to do with the type of ammo you use. Winchester ammo still jams mine, but every other brand of ammo works just fine.
one funny thing is that the soft air replica I have is almost built like an original desert eagle so I can use your tutorial on my soft air gun, too :) nice tut, good explanations.
Are you planning to make a speed assembling vid? That would be nice
I thought it was wierd that people were asking me questions about their airsoft and I was like "no, this is a real one". What a suprise I got to find out some airsofts have internals just like a real one. I can make a "quicker" version I'm sure...if my big fat fingers can handle the stress!
Thanks, I really appreciate it. I felt kinda dumb when I first started making these videos, but I know I wish I had one when I was taking my stuff apart. After getting comments from people saying it helped them, I feel less dumb.
Again, if someone needs help with the action or trigger assembly, I'll make another video. If you try it on your own, I'm sure you'll figure it out, but it takes time and patience. The hardest part of the trigger is getting the slide stop spring back into the tiny hole it fits into. I only did the action once, and it was a pain for me, but it is, of course, do-able. Sorry I smashed into the camera, and sorry I didn't do any cool editing like other people do...my computer isn't stable enough.
Great videos. You really know your Eagle. The videos will be a great help for when I clean mine. I just shot it for the first time tonight. Cheers!
