  • No One Can Sing It Like Tim Do

  • @reford19 I agree, Ryan's version is far less pop orientated. Ryan used understated music to match the longing in his lyrics. I'm just glad other artists recognize this amazing songwriter.

  • I remember when me and my friend listened to this song as kids!

    Memories..........

  • This song just brings me back to my childhood... Some of the melodies and lyrics... Sorry for gushing but this song is amazing and (maybe just for me) very emotional.

  • in that field with her, my shell

  • I used to play this song over and over again when it first came out. :)

  • Tim's version is way better than Ryan's

  • @reford19 nope :P

  • I've been trying to find an awesome coat like that. Anyone know where I can get one?

  • @StMichaelsArmy There's a store called "Boot Barn", they carry long coats; they might have one like it. I've been looking for one myself.

  • There are not many Country singers that sing with emotion and really give it there all as far as my opinon goes Tim Mcgraw has always done such and deserves all the credit to his multiple songs. God bless and scroll up your missing amazing music. :)

  • What Studio Album Of Tim McGraw's Is This On Besides Greatest Hits Vol 2

  • love this song.lol it awsome

  • i really luv this song! :)

  • one three hill :)

  • 75 people cant dance

  • Listen to that autotune. Not anti-autotune, per se, but woah is that noticeable. This feels a bit soulless compared to dear DRA's original.

  • @TheParanoidAndroid1 it's not autotune. the the quality of the sound in this vid is off.

  • @TheVampireMuffin No, it is. I've heard the CD.

  • Adams was the original. Tim's is slightly more produced. But its a good tribute.

  • only country song i love with all my heart..

  • nice!

  • i love country

  • One Tree Hill anyone?

  • This song makes me smile! (:

  • godddddddddddd it literally melts my heart. his voice is so good and so real. love you timmy m.

  • first dance wedding song. :)

  • 0:00

  • I think that this is a great song, perhaps one of the best I've heard. This coming from a rap junkie.

  • @rmoss8112 there's a reason why people give Tim McGraw all the credit: because his is the better liked version. it doesn't matter who came out with it first, it's who champions it. Obviously Tim did.

  • This is one of my favorites from Tim including She's my kinda rain!!

  • I love everything about this song! The melody his voice...everything just b;ends so well

  • the only country sng i actually like <33

  • i wish people would stop dissing artists for taking a song and changing it to a genre that other people would like... this song i like a lot and i like it best by tim mcgraw and yes i did go and hear it sang form a few other artists and they sing it in a different style of music. i like country tim sings country so i like his style... and realize he may not have written it but he did pay to be able to preform this song witch for an artist costs a lot more money then what u have to pay to play it

  • like words, song is beautiful

  • 73 people don't know where to go when they're lonely...

  • The original isn't nearly as good as this.... but I'm glad there was an original so that this version could be made! :D

  • Geez all songs are good' they jus updating there music..

  • The first time I heard this song was @ dusk with the man that I'd dream about since a little girl. Not married but he was (still is) my everything! 831-KGM!!

  • This was the first song I ever slow danced to back in middle school..the guy turned out to be a jerk but I will ALWAYS love this song=)

  • I tried Ryan Adams, but I'd rather listen to a man sing this song.

  • @legalglitz I'd rather listen to an artist, who sings with those things called emotions.

  • Wonderful Country Ballad!

  • @TheSweetBlackMagic quit being a douche, Tim does it really good. Never even heard the original so bite it

  • 72 haters

  • Saw the Tim McGraw concert in Brisbane, Australia last September and travelling down from the Top End for Tim and Faith in Brisbane next March.

  • this song reminds me of a far away freind i hopes he doing good

  • Probably the only Country song I could listen to on repeat. Not a fan of Ryan Adam's version. I prefer Tim's tone and the feel of his version.

  • @RullyisJRM i dont like country much either, but my girlfriend showed me this song and im like "Why cant i stop listening to this?"

  • @RullyisJRM i do like this version also, and im not a country fan either but ryan adams version just has much more raw emotion, less studio work! cant beat ryan adams version!

  • Just Love This!

  • i knew that girl off one tree hill hadn't wrote this

  • I had a potential lover tell me he thought of me when he heard this. I hadn't heard it... years and years later, I think... what if I chose different? I chose someone with a cold heart over a guy that associates this song with plain ol' me. *DUMB* woman!!!

  • Love is never ending : )

  • The Corrs (and Bono) did a great cover of ths wonderful Ryan Adams song at Live 8. May people cover Ryans songs including Elton John and Zach Brown. He's truly an amazing singer songwriter.

  • this song reminds me of me all the way

  • @CleanAndWhite well played

  • @CrazyRedneck883206 Ryan Adams wrote this lovely song

  • @MariposaGirl1981 really? i had know idea..... thanx:)

  • "dancing with the marionette" is the sentence that makes my day each time I hear this song.

  • i miss my arctic blue dodge neon with shiny wheels

  • this song gives me chills... ♥

  • I love this song, and the memories it brings. I'm beyond glad Tim McGraw re-did this song.♥

  • @daKnokOut

    oh. yeah. there is.

  • duhh!! haha did u not no that? and i love this song one of my favss!!!

  • there's a face on the left hand side at 0:54 . just thought i'd share

  • @SuckMySocks26

theres faces on both sides dude

  • i love this song iand i black not being racist i love country but i hav all my friends jamming to this

  • i love this song !! when my auntie passed we played this song at her memorial :( R.I.P AUNTIE CHRISTINA !!!!

  • I still like the Ryan Adams version better. Tim McGraw is a talented musician but I grew up on Ryan Adams...

  • look here you know i go to Marysville, IN where the stars shine like firecrackers and the neighbors still wave while you are passing by

  • I love Tim McGraw's Rendition of this song. He is by far my favourite country artist, and I am always happy to listen to him.

  • when the stars go stars go blue, i think of you<3 i <3 z.

  • This song just isn't long enough

  • this song is great:)

  • I absolutely love this song:) It's beautiful!

  • ryan wrote it yeah and he sang it well but Tim blows him right out of the water!!!

  • The fact is that Tim McGraw is a good country artist/performer. Ryan Adams is one of the best songwriter's of all time and a legend in his own time. They're not apples to apples. Actually, as far as Ryan Adams' catalog goes, this song is just a drop in the bucket. I'm sure he's totally fine with what Tim did with the song. Just appreciate them for what they do, don't compare the two

  • @sillyhands i couldnt agree with u more:)

  • CRACKER BARREL REPRESENT!!!!!

  • i f****** love this song

  • Great song. Tim's is better mainly because of high production and all the bells and whistles, but Ryan Adams still brought this song into existence.

  • Dang i guess people like squeaky off tone voices over Tim Mcgraw's.....Think people jus feel sorry for Ryan Adams cuz it wasnt a big hit.lol Sorry people.ha

  • @RezRiderYZ Uh...Ryan Adams wrote the song, and it's not one of his better songs. Ryan's still probably laughing his way to the bank on this deal. Keep on the main stream country blinders

  • ugh i want to throw up. he took a true artist expression of himself and turned it into a money making pop country shitfest. Tim McGraw can kindly head-butt a sidewalk for what he did to this song.

  • @steveo3399 its a great song wtf do you know

  • @steveo3399 f u *****

  • @steveo3399 I agree, Ryan Adams original song should've been the only version of this song to exist.

  • I don't know why, but this is one of my favorite songs of all time. Sometimes I just like a simple uncomplicated song that really makes no sense, but then the chorus hits with "stars go blue" and everything makes sense. It's the simple things in life that make it worth living.

  • I love this song!

  • this sing was the first country song that got me into country....& now i live it and breath it..

  • the one tree hill version is the BEST!! =) with bethany Joy =P

  • love him♥

  • @nexus375 you've obviously not heard the original.

  • @kristylea88

The original is poorly recorded and poorly executed.

  • i love country music especally tim mcgraw

  • this was good in one tree hill

  • i turned my punjabi friend who only listened to rap and hip hop to like country music with this song. :)

  • @fix135 yeah, I like the way Ryan Adams did it, but Tim's version is a very close second. :)

  • If only he loved me back... :)

  • ;_; i crying

  • awwwwe i <3 this song i dedacate it 2 ma sis she is like ma twin i <3 u hailee

  • i LOVVVVVVEEEEE!!!!! this song!!!

  • Tim McGraw has got to be one of the best music artists ever.

  • @Chut619 Too bad it was written, recorded and performed by Ryan Adams originally, huh? But I'll admit Tim did a decent job of covering the song...

  • One of my all time favorites of Tim..

  • Horrible..

  • this song reninds me of my dad

  • Ah I grew Up on Tim Mcgraw and this has to be one of my favorite songs by him.

  • @mooncola00 If only it was his song. Not a bad performance though. :)

  • @mooncola00

Hey idiot, this song isn't by Tim, it was originally written and performed by Ryan Adams, McGraw could never write something this beautiful

  • @SidewaysIsDead hey idiot...noone wants to hear your dumb ass comments, if you don't think this version of the song is "beautiful" then gtfo and go listen to Ryan Adams version....

  • @mooncola00 He didn't write this song.

  • @antifafubel kk

  • @mooncola00 Well he didn't write it but you knew that I'm sure...

  • Forest Fairies

  • Ryan Adams kills this version. For that matter, so does Steel Magnolia.

  • this song makes me smile

  • My friend sang this a while ago and it was the most beautiful thing i've ever heard, this is truly a touchinng song. Were DO you go when you're lonely?

  • I love it, I want some more of it. I tried so hard, but this song is a hit!

  • I love this song... It's just a cool song...

  • i love this song i could listen to it all day i wish i had this song on my ipod

  • i love this song!!!

  • love this song <3

  • Great song :)<3

  • my true love it is too late ,as u move away our song means so much more ........ to us and we shall dance till the stars go blue this summer

  • 60 people won't be dancing when the stars go blue.

  • whoever dislikes this video obviously doesn't enjoy good music!

  • and ryan's version is better.

  • nope. ryan adams is the original artist to preform this song. he wrote the song.

  • WHATEVER!!!!!! TIM MCGRAW IS NOT THE ORIGINAL OF THIS SONG!!!

TYLER HILTON IS THE ORIGINAL AND HE SINGS BETTER

  • @NoImNot23 this song was way before tyler hilton but i do like the one tree hill version.... but this song is amazing

  • @vgirl120592 i am a tree hill fanatic.

  • @jessienmahon I just got done watching every episode starting from season 1 episode 1.... this guy I really like looks a lot like Tyler Hilton =)

  • @vgirl120592 what season did you stop at? and Tyler is really cute :)

  • @jessienmahon whatever the last season was.... and I know he is =)

  • @NoImNot23 are u serious? Ryan Adams wrote this song and sings it better than anybody.

  • @jawbreaker818 agreed

  • You say Lady Gaga, I say Lady Antebellum.

You say Jason Derulo, I say Jason Aldean.

    You say T-Pain, I say T-Swift

You say Ke$ha, I say Kenny.

You say Pitbull, I say Paisley.

You say Justin Bieber, I say Justin Moore and go grow a pair.

  • this was me and ex-boyfriend's song. this is the first time i've listened to it without feeling sad :) instead i think about the good times, and how this would always be the 1st song on the mix cd's he'd make me.

  • me and my dad would listen to this song together!:) <3

  • when i was like 5 i always listened to this song!!!

  • This version and the ryan adams both make me cry I love to HATE this song

  • Good song.

  • This song makes me cry >.>

  • @pimpylol11 puss.

  • I swear there is something really wrong with you people... he remade this song 3 years ago and you're just now staying sh** about it, i mean come on act like the gown that you are and stop waisting your time hating on Tim McGaw, i guess you people have NOTHING better to do with your life, cause if you did you wouldn't be posting comments like you do.. Who really give a sh** who sings it better, cause its over and done with so give it up aleady. HATERS :)

    xoxo me

  • I like all versions of this song that I've heard. I think it's a testament to a great songwriter. I like the song with a strong voice like McGraw's. I love the woman's voice in the version by The Coors (can we edit out Bono's emoting in between lines, though?). And nothing is more aching and vulnerable than Adam's version.

  • boy he sure fucked up ryan adams song

  • @mudbee exactly

  • are you listening this in 2011?

  • what a dumb hick

  • Glad Tim can make money with his shitty version of Ryan's classic. What a dork.

  • <3

  • my fv. song

  • @cuteylovergirl wrong actually it was RYAN Adams not Bryan Adams. Two totally different people.

  • @cuteylovergirl No nononononon, RYAN adams wrote it

  • too bad half the people listening to this don't know it's actually Ryan's Adam's song...

  • @riversjackson1 It is okay if he sings it.

  • @TheDeppLuvr but he doesnt do it nearly as good

  • @riversjackson1 Who gives a shit. You act like this is the only song ever covered. Get the hell over it.

  • @tim24tn someone has an anger problem, i wasnt getting all pissed about it, unlike you
