@mrroboto8269 no. the wire is what powers the fan!! it is a switch that turns the fan on and off. its like an electronic plug that plugs in when u press a button and unplugs when you press the other.

Considering this guy his now showing the circuit or kit i call bullshit. However its easy to do just get a RF keyfob reciver module, Run it to a momentary power switch and program the Module to use single pulse / single channel and thats it. Asumeing you know how to program IC's that is, If not pray the default setting on the module is what you need :P
