There are several problems in general at how drugs are distributed in the Philippines. 1) The drugstore employees make a commission. That encourages them to give you the more expensive drug that might be the wrong substance. 2) Employees are allowed to sell you individual tablets instead of the whole box. Any civilized country makes their citizens buy the whole box because it has important drug information on it. Selling individual pills leads to massive mistakes.
