2010 Roush 427R upgraded to a Stage 3 burnout donut without music

@albee26  Interesting choice to get a 427 then morph it into a Stage 3! I like anyone who can be creative with their cars. I actually have the only Stage 3 around town. The only other Roush cars I've seen is a Stage 1, a Sport, and just recently saw the first 427R. I love the color on yours! I'm actually going to hit some mystichrome this spring to add some flare. 140mph in 4th sounds right to me. Is yours a 6? Can't wait to drop a 6 in mine. Great car man!

@stnspn44 The crapy thing about that car is I was hit head on and it was totaled out. I spent 15k in upgrades to make it the Stage 3. The good news though the dealership had a stage 3 sitting there and I picked it up in April of 2010. So not have three Mustangs. 2003 GT, 2010 Stage 3, and 2012 GT500. I will keep the 5 speed in mine.

@albee26 Oh damn man! I'm sorry to hear about you collision! That's just a sucker gut punch and a cup check all at once! I have a very similar story....previous owner didn't know anything about tuning or not to put smaller boost pulley on a stock motor. Shot a piston. Literally, like you, $15K later, have a Roush/Yates block, all forged internals with the blower. Have that ('05 Roush Stage3), a '95 Cobra and a '69 Mach 1. What's next?! lol! Have footage on the '12?

You must like to blow money. My wife has a 2010 427r convertible and roush will do no such thing like you mentioned...ship to roush and get a stage 3 package...if they do now you have spent 55k+ plus a ridiculous amount to get stage 3 charger and support components, racing clutch, flywheel..etc installed..I have a stage 3 and have been working with JDM on upgrades...unless you get a whole new block or racing heads...your 800 hp theory is crap ...would have been cheaper to buy a stage 3 ....62.5k

@MrRoushs3 My dealership who sells Roush cars had Roush pick up one of the cars on the lot and I was able to get my 427R on that Trailer and shipped to Roush for the Stage 3 upgrade. You can see all the pictures of this upgrade with the plaque Roush custom build on Fnsweet.

Question for you.... why is it that I can't hear the blower whine in your video? I'm not a big fan of the blower whine in the first place, I'd much rather just hear the engine and exhaust. What did you do to make the blower whine so subtle that you can't really hear it? Can you hear it more when you're driving and it doesn't record well on your camcorder? Or is it because you have the Roush exhaust system that deletes teh mufflers entirely? What is the secret?
