When I watched this father walking 6 days with his children to school, it reminded me of the years when my sister and I, walking a mile to our primary school. Wow !!
I think I need to get my children to watch from 10:30 to 19:40 they always complain about walking to or from school when I ask. Mind you its on flat ground with no hills, deadly river valleys or cliffs etc 1.5 Klm's they are so watching this.........
An untruth from the first sentence in this video intro: "Only one creature has been able to survive in every environment on earth, the human." There is at least one other creature that has been found in FAR more environments than humans, from 13,000 ft undersea, to 20,000 ft up Everest, and can even survive being in outer space with no oxygen: the small creature called a tardigrade. Read about it on wikipedia
@palu407 Thats because it was only co-produced by Discovery. It is the BBC Natural History Dept. that do all the work. They are the leading organization in what they do. They have discovered new species and filmed species never before seen by man, but ones we have known about.
Wow, it's really amazing to see how much an education means to some people. It's a shame that most people who have free and easy access to schools don't appreciate what they have. Those parents are inspiring. :)
That Tibetan family is inspiring. That family goes through all that so the children can get an education. In the States, you have many who won't walk two blocks to get their fat McDonalds-filled asses to school.
In America, if you go to school and try to do well without being a sport player, you are a loser, teacher's pet (or "acting white" if you are Black and Brown). Liberal will not party with you and conservatives will call you a pussy. Anarchists will even label you as a slave.
Until you get your money-making degree, you can't prove that school is useful. It is a sad truth Americans must save, dude.
hope the guy in the Laos river earn some money, cuz he's the main character anyway, and he play a dangerous role...a thanks is not enough cuz BBC make good money out of this Doc. Btw, the picture is perfect.
wow im in singAPORE and this is truly amazing how these people can survive !

@Katw76 That's why it shouldn't be free anymore. Thank idiot liberals who have no clue about human nature for that.
