dude do you have working link for mgs1 for psp? the second cd never works i downloaded 2 links one direct converted to psp and one i downloaded was ps1 game and converted it to psp game but 2nd cd wont run...

damn do u know what i would give for this on my psp! i have a psp and have lsot my ps1 mgs disk i want mgs for psp so badly! but i dont have a ps3 :'( is there any way round it? also i have a 1000 series with i think 8 mb still :( is there any way to get mgs on my psp without a ps3? and how much space does it take?

@sirwinsalot Approx it takes is 400mb to 1.5GB with both Disks. It's downloadable somewhere if your PSP is chipped.

Well, if I remember correctly, all you have to do is press the home button and switch controller ports.

ive been messing with the psx 2 psp for awhile. All my games work fine, including metal gear solid but how do you get around not using the analog sticks? Without the analog stick you cant walk in the game.

did you try reconfiguring your button layout through the HOME menu when ingame?

Yes... metal gear solid makes use of the dual shock (analog stick controls). Without the analog sticks you cannot walk in the game. Ive tried changing my controls through the HOME menu but the only thing it lets you do is either use the analog stick as the D-Pad or use the analog stick as the the R2 and L2 buttons.

hey...you said that your mgs on psp works fine...do you have any audio problems where the sound in cutscenes/codec get chirpy or messed up in general? I've been trying to make an eboot for months now(ive probably made like 10 eboots) that is perfect, but I can't figure it out...if you could tell me exactly what specifications you used to make yours(provided that it runs fine), I would greatly appreciate it.

hmm? are you talking about the splash? once again, this copy was ripped from the PSX CD and of course they made it look kind of nice when the splash screen comes out. if it was any other PS1 game, it would have Hot Shots Golf as the first screen.

unfortunately I cannot, but the internet is a vast place. someday you'll figure out how to get games "legally". I'm sure if you ask a forum without using the words "download" "ISO" and "torrents" you might get an indirect answer.

if your using two mem cards i suggest copying the saved file of the other game over to the second card.

Yo I'm playing Final fantasy 8 and when it tells me to put in Disc 2 I boot in the Eboot of disc 2 but when i load...it says theres no memory.....You got any idea wtf i should do?

doesnt mgs use r2 and l2 for changing item? u wont be able to get past the first few bits without being able to change your weapom :S
