Everyone, this is the CORRECT way to steal from a Kecleon:

You already know that you just use a trawl orb at the stairway. BUT, the first thing you do is sell your stuff to Kecleon. You'll be basically stealing his items AND money.

@JandAprodoctions It is impossible to get Kecleon with a Swellow. Because it cannot learn Fast Friend IQ. If you got Golden Mask and level 100 without fast friend it would be -0.5% you need fast friend to boost it to 0.5% making it possible.

* steal the items, and use an escape orb before you step out of the rug

!!you should always have an escape orb for emergencies!!

-escape orbs are petty abundant, it won't take you long to find one

2) I take all the items

3) And then I use a Pure Seed!

Simples! ^^

Or I stand by a staircase and use a Trawl Orb (my team mates gather the items and then we make a quick getaway!)

It's just simple enduring + endeavour, plus the game mechanics in PKMD work differently (ie. endure is now a status that can last more than one turn).

You are a genius, i never thought of this. What I do is i normally steal, and use a pure seed right away, so i can get to the room with the stairs, and then i go straight towards the stairs. Though, if ur still on the main storyline, i suggest u tell ur partner to get away from here or go the other way so that he won't die, and it might help to have a reviver seed or 2 to help out

For actually stealing the items, just getting to the stairs is, of course, more effective.

Endure makes it so that if a pokemon does an attack on you that would normally bring your hp down to 0, your hp stays at 1 for as long as Endure is up.

Combined with Endeavor, which brings the opponents hp to the same amount you have (which he masterfully set up to be about 1 or 2), it is an insanely wise combo to utilize.
