Moderate views are generally not founded in principle and are whimsical by nature because they lack a foundation. I try to adhere to the core basic principle of freedom - namely free choice versus force. Most issues fall in to place easily unless you have a force based ideology. In such cases it boils down to making others do what you want, not freedom. I am pretty simple - live and let live.

The US has about 5 % to 10% Libertarians and Anarhcist that are left out of the entire spectrum. This group is usually well read and highly educated so its ideas are published often - altering the Euro-Amercian spectrums.

Moderate views are generally not founded in principle and are whimsical by nature because they lack a foundation. I try to adhere to the core basic principle of freedom - namely free choice versus force. Most issues fall in to place easily unless you have a force based ideology. In such cases it boils down to making others do what you want, not freedom. I am pretty simple - live and let live.

Or thats the jist. You see the reason why they're labeled the way they are is that Nazi Germany & the Soviet Union wanted to be differentiated in terms because they were enemies. @pjmgame The left wing is about increasing size of government and because of that they limit our freedoms. The best thing for the Fed Govt to do is to stay out of our lives as much as possible. A lot of big government programs inevitably fail because they try to micro manage things. The state government runs programs more efficiently because they are closer to the issues. The fact of the matter is that the govt does control us to a certain extent and a big govt is unconstitutional

@pjmgame FDR did not end the depression with government regulation. The war simply covered up the unemployment since the men had to go to war.
Unemployment went up during FDR's New Deal. Only when the war was over and he lowered taxes and tried to get out of the economy's way did it start to get better

@superlucci unemployment went down because of the new deal. We went to war in 1941. The new deal also ended the depression. It gave the middle class social programs whicj helped a lot for them.

Tyler is SO wrong in her assertion that Hitler was a right wing conservative. He was an atheist and believed in large, dominant government. That is the polar opposite of the Republican party which is largely religious (Christian), believes in small government, and low taxes. There is no way a conservative Christian leader would murder millions of Jews based on evolutionary theory (HIGHLY left wing supported theory) when Christ himself was a Jew. Unbelievable.
