  • As-salaamu 'alaikum, sister. I'm a recent revert. I just wanted to let you know that I found your tutorials several months ago when I had a random (maybe destined?) urge to learn more about hijab. I love your videos and I think they're a big reason I became interested in Islam again and began feeling a renewed pull toward it. Thanks so much, Amena! :)

  • @ImanElibyary :o)

  • I love your wall.. lol. never thought i'd say something as random as that., but it's gorgeous!

  • It's funny when I hear her speak of Islam it sounds so much like Christianity with the turning away from the self to God, or even Buddhism.

  • salam alekum, wow sister first I was shocked to find out you were married and now you say you have kidssss? You look soooooooo young how old are youuuu? I'm 24 and I still dont feel like having kids while my husband wants it a lot...hopefully inshalah I'm gonna decided to do it heh :)

  • lovelovee<3

  • @Lovettesz :oD

  • Standard question:

What are your reasons to believe in Islam?

  • @MardasMan Do you really want to know? Is your mind and your heart open enough to know the truth?

  • I am not religious, however I find your scarves absolutely FABULOUS!!

I wish people wouldn't assume negative things about it. I would consider wearing one. Or would that be perhaps insensitive to wear it for only fashion reasons?? I don't know ..

  • @ryoshi100 Not at all - it's not restricted to one group!

  • You are Gorgeous, I mean, There is no word to describe how Pure your heart is, alhamdulilah. We are not perfect, however, amongst the muslims, you have become the Muslim allah subhan'allah wants us to be..and you've made..You are definately an inspiration for so many muslims out there, your face is wise and pure which makes your natural beauty mash'allah, and your heart as well. It's about desiring of becoming the muslim we shall be, sabr and allah helps. You made it ! A Great MAsha'allah Amena

  • I''m hoping that 3 posts will get me noticed and get my queries answered insha'allah - last query - the tri enzyme facial wash - do you use a weekly exfoliant with it? Have googled but no answer :(

  • @ahafsa2008 You may use a weekly exfoliant if you wish, but only use a very gentle one :o)

  • Please do some more skincare videos, mashallah your skin is lovely, so please share your sercrets!! ;)

  • Assalam sis, Completely random, but could you recomend a good eye cream esp for dark circles, i was thinking of elemis eye serum, i remember you mentioned one you use but can't seem to find the vid. x

  • @ahafsa2008 Wa 'alaikum as-salaam! The Elemis Absolute Eye Serum is really good for reducing dark circles. Also, there's a cream called Teamine which is quite good but too expensive in my opinion. However, please remember that hereditary dark circles/pigmentation won't get reduced by eye creams, no matter how brilliant they claim they are!

  • @Amenakin Jazakillah khairan for replying. The teamine looks tempting...am tempted to try it.....

    Thanks again x

  • @Sbarwick1 MASHALLAH

  • amena how come you took the ali babas off from pearl daisy i really wanted to order them but when i went on they weere not there and btw u have a fab channel

  • @ChanelRose85 Jazaak'Allah, sister. You're always so kind! Methinks it's the sunshine though lol

  • you make me want to become a muslim

  • @joeman8808 Insha'Allah (God Willing) you look into the religion and find contentment in your heart :o) I've put links to the Qur'an translation that I recommend, along with the Scholars I recommend, in the description box. Hope you get a chance to have a looksy :o)

  • @Amenakin Thank you very much! I absolutely will check it out now :)

  • @joeman8808 I pray find in it the Truth and that your heart is opened to the light of knowledge :o)

  • mashAllah your absolutely beautiful! i love your voice =) really awesome vid! i loved it!

  • @wilddworld Thank you for watching!

  • I am a head-covering Christian, and I love your channel. I would love to wear hijab, but don't think it would go over well with my family, unfortunately. Maybe I'll ease into it. :-)

  • @knitmama06 Google "Russia in color, a century ago" - Head scarfs aren't limited to any one culture or religion. Research your own culture and you might find they were common once, unless you are from a hot and humid area of the world.

  • @Jaxomy Indeed, headscarves are worn also by many Christian women. Take the Virgin Mary (we call her Mariam), for example :o)

  • @knitmama06 Easing into it is a very good option. Hope it goes well with your family. Thank you for your comment :o)

  • i like watching your viseos alot but im missing the hijaab tutorials and plus i just newly started wearing my hijaab so any tips and styls ??? thankyouxxx

  • @saffsuperstar1 There are loads in the folder 'hijab tutorials'! Click on my name to go on my main channel page where you'll find the folders

  • i love your smile! it's so cheery!

  • @firestorm112 :oD

  • @zjaz10 the last message was for you, sorry I had a typo. Misstyped your user name

  • @azjaz I totaly agree with you :) Br Rajabali Hassanain and sayed Ammar Nakshawani are great inspirations. MashaAllah, may Allah keep them and protect them for the Muslim Ummah.

  • Loved the video Ameena Sister ! =D

your super amazing, and there's always something to learn from your videos. The way your carry out your words and the message you portray, realli helps people. your an inspiration.

    You looked stunning, m'A ! <3

  • @hillykhan Aw, thank you for watching it, sister! Alhamdullilah, I'm SO pleased that you felt inspired. Makes everything worth it :oD

  • Hey Hun you can pm me now xxx

  • @isaidthisok Ok! Sorry, can you remind me why I needed to PM you?

  • I <3 your wall wallpaper :D

  • @thepersonthatiscrazy thanks! It's a plain wall with wall decals stuck on :oD

  • @Amenakin

oh, cool it looks really pretty :D

  • you look exactly like nina dobrev!

  • you should listen to Hasanain Rajabali and Sayed Ammar Nakshawani you would their lectures.

  • @zjaz10 i agree especially Sayed Ammar, he's a great speaker and he knows exaclty how to make his piont (:

  • your videos never fail to put a smile on my face :)

  • Masha'allah, you're so pretty! :)

  • @Amenakin While I admire you & you seem like a nice person, why does every part of the Qu'ran appeal to you? What about this part: Qur'an:9:5 "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war." or Ishaq:324 "He said, 'Fight them so that there is no more rebellion, and religion, all of it, is for Allah only. Allah must have no rivals.'" I can't agree with that :/

  • @teevanator I'm not sure which translation you're using of the Qur'an - I presume you found your quotes online. I recommend you have a read of the translation & commentary (explanatory parts) of the Qur'an that I mention in this video (link under the video). You'll then understand the context to which verses like this apply :o) Also, I find the Qur'an beautiful because the Divine words are directly from God, so listening to and reciting them brings comfort to the heart. Hope you give it a read!

  • @Amenakin I suppose it would broaden my understanding, though I'm actually an agnostic to the point of atheism with all religions haha :)

As I say, you seem nice, but you don't agree with those quotes (whether in or out of context) do you?

  • @Amenakin amena no matter what answer u give u will not satisfy these type of people. u can tell if someone is really wanting to know about islam or if they are jus trying to cause mischief. AL QURAN talks about these people they will always come back with more questions nothing will satisfy them so u shoudl ignore them

  • mash'ALLAH love ur vids may ALLAH (SWT) bless you + ur fam (:

  • @Nyla301 Aameen, thank you so much!

  • salam aleikoum Amena, nice TAG. I loved your answer.

Hey Amena, I've made my first make up tutorial on youtube, if you want to see my face, marhababik ;) but it's in french ! have a nice day inch'Allah may Allah bless you :)

  • do you have long or short hair. btw, i just found your channel and love all the positive energy you give out!!!

  • MashAllah :) thanks for the links, helps a lot!

  • @amenikin I'm not Muslim myself and I see it as a pretty tough religion to be honest stuff like fasting and praying 5 times a day would put me of being a muslim, what are your views on this. (no disrespects intended)

  • i had a passing comment which was very un friendly because i was wearing a hijab and it was a bunch of teen boys so unnecessary - they muttering under their so i couldn't quite make out what they were saying. and they were white teenage boys. such a disappointment and so unnecessary.

    Anyway your wallpaper is pretty!

  • your wallpaper is soo preetty!

  • i really hope you could do a video on i forgot the right word but i just feel like my faith goes up and down and i feel uninspired alot of the time sounds crazy but there's just issues in islam that i dont think i can ignore and it makes my iman go pretty low would love to know how you keep iman so high!! xx

  • I so wish I had an older sister like you! You're amazing, Masha'Allah! Allah is indeed greater =D. Are you from Pakistan?

  • I love you wallpaper :D

  • mashaallah sister you're amazing !all your videos are very nice and informative.

Enna li Allahi w Ena elyhi rajeoon has always worked for me ! in all troubles AlhmduleAllah, you also remind me how blessed I am to be able to understand Arabic in Quraan :)) <3

  • MashaAllah Sis May allah swt bless you and your family....

  • I'm not Muslim but I find so much comfort in your words and many of the things from the Koran you mentioned.

As far as those ignorant ppl- leave them be. You said them along the lines of Leave for Allah...I complete agree :)

  • Oh wow..Kids are running about supervised..Wish I was a kid again so I could run about. Oh well..

  • you are very beautiful sister..:) hope someday i got one like you :)

  • I ask Allah to grant u happiness and prosperity !!

  • YES, we are something borrowed. everything will go back to Him.. so dont get sad.

  • @clip012 subhaan'Allah, borrowed indeed! Love that; thank you for your comment

  • @Amenakin u r welcome Amena. i ws born wt defect foot but i never get sad cuz i know even when i hv it perfect Allah cld take it back anytime. i also never worry if boys will not like me becoz of my foot, cuz i know then only i can find a sincere one who loves me becoz of what is in my heart. Cheers!

  • You look so much like Nina Dobrev i have said that like 10x already haha...You're vids are gr8 (:

  • @ang3lpie lol yes you've said that before I think - I'll have to look her up!

  • @Amenakin omg so ur telling me u don't watch vampire diaries, she plays elena on that show u should watch it, it's great haahha

  • Unfortunately I cannot hear you as I have profound hearing loss and I need to get better headphones than the ones I got now. I am a plural spiritualist but have converted to Islam and is practicing aspects of it. I'm trying to do my prayers but my circadian rhythm is off so I usually just do the evening prayers. I also wear hijab and that is a challenging aspect. I try not to let my family's negativity about wearing hijab get to me though.

  • Masha Allah sister. I love this video. Its so uplifting...... May Allaah swt bless u nd ur family. Xx

  • where are u from orginaly ? and do u speak arabic?

  • mashallah, i feel like whenever my eman goes a little down i can watch your videos and it's so uplifting and puts me back where i was and more. your videos are a gift, my allah bless you and your family. jazakallah kheir :)

  • #Dont hate us (muslim's) because our faith is beautiful# :D

  • i love your hijaab x

  • Could you please give us some links to places where you find good lectures, if you find them online? I have been trying to find some and apart from youtube, havent found many.

  • @sunlily17 Do you mean audio lectures? There are some transcripts on masud.co.uk. Suhaib Webb also has them on his website/blog. Cambridgekhutbasetc is another blog that has some great stuff on it. Hope that helps and that you have time to peruse those websites.

  • @Amenakin Thanks! I like both of these websites, they both have lots of good stuff MashaAllah! I'm on the internet so much, I think I can definitely make time to read these! <3

  • Masha'allah! I've never commented before but when you said leaving aside culture and focusing on us uniting as an um ah, tears came to my eyes. This is my du'ah every day. I'm so glad I'm not the only one. Thank you for making my day, sister.

  • Masha'Allah!

    '

I'm 15 years old, and since i started reading the Q'uran, i start to cry, EVERY time. It's just so beautiful.

  • vrymuch interesting..inshalla itoo listen thespeech..ur background painting flowr rso gud..can u showme this fuly..

  • Thank you for the information which is inspiring and will take the information to heart.

  • Such an interesting video. I'm not muslim but I enjoyed watching this anyways. I do have a quick question though, do you wear the hijab at home even when your just with your family? Or is it something you wear all day no matter who is around? Great channel by the way.

  • @NagiCairo hi there, we do not wear the hijab at home dear we only wear it outside or in front of non mahram .A non-mahram is someone who you can marry, someone who you should cover yourself in front of - whereas if you are Mahram to someone, you cannot marry them - your brother, father, uncle, etc. these people could see your hair you dont have to cover in front of them :) hope that helps

  • @NagiCairo Thank you; I'm glad you enjoyed watching it. Nope, I don't wear hijab when there are no non-mahram men around. Basically, I don't wear the headscarf in front of women and girls, and men who aren't my hubby, dad, immediate uncles and father in law. Oh, I also wear it when I pray :o) Great question!

  • i cried :') Subhanallah! Going through so much right now. this helped a lot. thank you!

  • luv the vid!

    ~ a fan from Jeddah =D

  • Brother Hassanain has also inspired me and helped me understand the true meaning of Islam and what a womens role is in this beautiful religion. We are the flag bearers of Islam (subhanallah)

  • always love watching your tag videos :)

also that was pretty funny at minute 00:42 when they stopped for a few seconds just as you finished the sentence!

i second the list you gave as your favorite scholars ma'shallah!

  • Subhanallah sister Amena, you made a great change in my life today with your beautiful words. You have realy shown me the light in numerous occasions, I pray Allah guides and protects you and Increases the light in your face and life. I also suggest listening to brother Rajabali Hassanain, he is a great life changer for many youth in our community as well as others around the world mashaAllah

  • Mashallah, sister you have so much noor on your face, it's not makeup it's something else..like a sukoon, calmness. I just wanted to sah that when I started watching this video, I was like "meeh, too long" but when u started telling all these stuff abt our beautiful religion..I just wanna go n do wudhu n cry on the ja-namaz.. May Allah forgive us all, ameen. Best advice by shaykh Hamza.. So true!

  • Just wanted to say, I'm not Muslim, but this was really gorgeous.

  • Salem Amena, just wanted to send some love from Chicago, USA

and let you know that you are amazing MASHALLAH! Jazaki allahu khayran for all that you are doing, because you are truly and inspiration for me <3

  • Really inspirational! JazakAllahu ghayr :)

  • I was just wondering if you knew that Hamza Yusuf and the first website you mentioned were sufi. For anyone who doesn't know who a Sufi is, you should look it up, seriously.

  • When did u start wearing Hijaab ?

  • we AREN'T treated well!

  • @ Amena mashallah a lovely insight into your life in this way.

@ liquidblackuk carry on reading the Quran and ask Allah swt to help you understand His words and His message. Inshallah (Allah swt willing) you will. "After every hardship comes ease". xx

  • Masha Allah, you are really inspiring. It's no wonder I love watching your videos! :) I agree Surah Baqarah is very touching (all of the surahs are touching, obviously). I haven't read all of the Quran yet, but I listened to Surah Yaseen and there was English translation. Surah Yaseen really did speak to me :) No wonder it's called the heart of the Quran :)
