  • do as much as you can, then substract 5 to 10 reps from your max. Do 4 sets every night before you go to bed of that amount of reps......

    (I'm just making shit up....... but it should work)

    set yourself a target each week, you decide whether to do it once a day or once every two days, then if you feel you can do a little more then add two for example to the original number you had been doing before. It gives you a target which helps mentally, but you have to be disciplined and consistent. Hope that helps.

  • building up a good core prevents back injury. flex your abs when you do any kind of pushup, especially with this excercise. i've had back problems myself and believe me you dont want to make it any worse ;)
