  • these exercises are really intense.. looked easy at first but i was too exhausted at the end of the first 10 exercises.. couldn't complete the 3 circles. Should i work till i throw up or should i take it slow ?

  • I want a body like Doctore's armor

  • I want to start a workout like this. I'm just very nervous to do it lol. I had two hernia operations last year... I don't want anymore or to rip/tear the mesh.

Anyone out there doing this work who's in the same boat? I need to get my ass in shape haha.

  • How did that word bubble not poke your eye out?? That's the real question

  • Subscribe to his channel so he can get enough money to buy a shirt!!!

  • ibarely could finish 1/3 of this workout and with 2 weight of 5kg..how many days of doing this ..will help you do a full circuit?

  • It is the Spartacus workout not Spatacus workout.

  • R.I.P Andy WhitField ;( you wil allways be in oúr minds

  • Thanks man for this wicked workout, I just tried it and I think it deffinetly hits the spot. I normally train but as late havent beenn able to find the time or quite frankly the motivation as i'm one of those guys who likes to have a partner stronger than me to chase. Ive just moved to a new area and the one person I thought might be a good training partner turned out to be lazy and un-trust-worthy so Ive had to dis associate myself with him. As a result i stopped training for about 3 months.

  • why he`s fat?

  • thanks for the video Nat! I'm a martial artist n never really exercised with weights before, but the Spartacus workout fit rly well on my routine. I'm having some trouble with the weights though, since I'm very lean and short hahah (5,3 ft, 110 lb) I don't know how much I'm supposed to use. I started wih 22 lb on the squat/lunge exercises and about 10 lb on the 1 arm ones, but it's kinda weird. Can u help me?

  • How many kg should have a weight?

  • @florian111grigo florian111grigo . any weight that provides a challenge to your muscles it the right weight :) make sure its challenging but always have the weight in control and concentrate on the 'propper form' of the exercise. the important thing is working out in a way that is challenging and rewarding for you, everyone will use different weights and probably different weights for every exercise depending on how strong they are in that particular exercise. :)

  • I hope Buick is paying ya well

  • This guy should audition for the lead role of spartacus

  • while the video was well done. people need to realize they arent going to get the "sparticus body" by doing this. those guys were training 4 hours a day doing insane workouts that arent even involved in this. marketing, i hate it.

  • @jimmymccrim I think you should give it a try and the reason is that when I was in the military a lot of these exercises we did without the weights and we got into great shape:}

  • @elliottfour i might. i cant remember what i said that you replied to. but i do th P90X and the GSP work out. both of those combined have got me into great shape!

  • @jimmymccrim I saw you had commented that the guys doing these exercises usually worked out 4 hours a day and it would be difficult to get into shape doing what they do as represented on the Spartacus workouts. But I will say I'm happy to hear you got into shape with P90x because I just received it as a gift and will be starting my program in a week. Also what is GSP? Thanks

  • @elliottfour GSP is a UFC fighter who has a bunch of work out routines. George St.pierre they aremostly just alorie burners. but between those two programs i am in great shape.

  • @jimmymccrim Thanks for that. I'll have to check those GSP routines out.

  • Doing the push up movement with round dumbbel is even better because you try

harder for bakance and work you core more.

  • thanks man, the advanced tips really help. Subscribed :)

  • i've spent a while doing this workout but it was always pain every time, especially at the jump lunges, that's where it really hurts, i've gotten a little busy with school and haven't kept in shape as much as i've wanted to but i'm almost done and I hope to get back into it. This video was also really helpful because i am think there were a couple of exercises that i could improve my form in and it's awesome that you showed how beginners can start and how advanced people can step it up a notch

  • Theres an app for that!

"Blood and Sand Workout Timer" (android)

    :)

  • thank you so much for the time and effort to film this video man, was so helpful. I´d like to ask you something. I´m a begginer with a shoulder injury. I´d like to try this routine with really light weights to get some definition, endurance and lose fat (seems like this can work also as a pseudocardio workout). Based on your experience with the routine, do you think it could have good results for me in some months?

  • @Victortricking Thank you. Yes, check out my blog, I have my results posted there remember you need a clean diet to see results. Also watch your shoulder if it hurts you or bothers you in anyway don't do it.

  • great video :D you shoud have a role in Spartacus Season 3 :>

  • @tibybackside Thank You! Actually I entered the Metrx win Spartacus walk on role competition. If they select my video I will let you know.

  • Damn. This looked easy at first sight but when i tried it, i was nearly dieing at the end of exercise 4 of set 1. :B

  • @edeligonul I feel your pain ;) It took me a while to get where I am at. Before you know it you will be breezing through the exercise. Keep it up! Thank You.

  • viel zu schnell du Affe! XD

  • They did perform different workouts in the "Gladiator Camp" video, but I was happy to find the "Official" workout page, with a video of Spartacus, Varro, and Oenomaus performing every step in the workout at the ludus! Just go to the Mens Health website /spartacus/workouts I would post link but it wont let me. Its hard to find if you search for it at mens health. Or you can go to google and type in "Spartacus Challege" and follow the link to mens health. Enjoy!

  • Hi Nat.

If you look at Gladiator camp clip on youtube ( Spartacus: Blood and Sand - Gladiator Camp ) you see that the gladiator work out was actually 2 weeks of 4 hours of exercises per day. None of the exercises on the clip even ressemble the work out. Am I misssing something?

  • @kikilkiki Yes your missing the most important part they are not real gladiators

  • @grayfpx

    Thanks for your reply.

I meant the actors' actual work out was completely different from this in order to prepare for the series

  • @kikilkiki this is basically a home edition of it, using the same muscle groups not to mention they also did gymnastics and weapons training. Vast majority of people would not have tractor tires lying around at home you know.

  • This new version is a huge improvement on the older one!

  • so which of the workout routines in the newer "mens health" magazines should i use if i want to get high muscle definition, very low body fat, and have a very slim and defined core?

  • heyy man ive been doing the spartacus workout 1 and its killer, gives ur whole body a good sweat and ur legs burn like crazy! instead of memorizing this wrkout shud i just keep doin the first one since its effective too, or does this one produce better results?

  • i've been doing this workout for a good while now, and i was just wondering would i be over working my muscles if i go into weight training after the three sets?

  • what is the goal of this workout? is it muscle gain + fat loss?

  • This workout is an ass kicker !! A group of us get together and do this, it has earned the name "widow maker" with us, lol, but we love it!!!

  • YOU ARE A BEAST!

  • ty for the tips

  • I tried this routine this monday, and let me tell u, i only did like 2 circuits it was killing me!! at least my back! i felt the muscles ive neglect getting back at me, i felt all my muscles from my core and legs acking even though i work out 4 days a week!! thx for this awesome routines ur putting here!! great job!! and i have a question, what can i do to eliminate the front and side "bellys" because i hate to see my abdomen like that any tips please?... Thx again and keep up the good work!! :)

  • Hi there! Wanna try this circuit but is it enough for just basictraining? And is that enough for someone that did not trainend for 2 months and come back?

  • No one has commented on this!!! Why not!!! Dang I only have the circular weights. I seriously need to get a set of kettlebells. Great workout tips. Awesome pdf track program. Damn very informative. I'm still shocked no one has said anything here. Great Squat form. I will try this circuit. Thank you for the information and great tips as always.

  • @bgcorporation Thank you BG! This video was one of the hardest video for me to shoot. I put a ton of time and effort into to it. As always thanks feedback.
