the universal option lets you recone the sub and change the ohm load. lets say you ordered a Fi sub with D1 coils and you have the universal option. you can recone the sub to a D2 incase you change amps or something. you cannot do this if you dont have the universal option.

dont worry about that. max wattage means absolutely nothing. 2000rms is the power. no more than that

well yes, they can handle a tremendous amount of power. the boys from ssa forums pumped 50 amps of current at 100 volts into it. wich is 5000rms. thats a heck of a lot of power. but it doesnt mean its the peak power.rms is the sub's power rating. just coz it takes more power, doesnt make it more powerful
