Regarding richgrant08's question: no, Daniel will not become king. As has been recently announced by the Swedish Royal Court, upon his marriage to Crown Princess Victoria, he will become HRH Prince Daniel, Duke of Västergötland. Upon her Accession to the Throne, he would be considered her consort; however, it would be up to Crown Princess Victoria, as Queen, to officially give him the title of Prince Consort (eg.: Prince Albert [England] and Prince Henrik [Denmark]).

@RichGrant08 Technically a King is higher than a Queen-think of playing cards. So when a male becomes king his wife can become queen because she is still lower in stature than him. However, when a female becomes queen her husband can't be king as he would then be higher in stature than her and deemed rightful ruler.
So if you look at countries like Spain, Sweden, Norway the kings' wives are queens. If you look at countries like England, The Netherlands & Denmark the husbands were princes...
