  • A sad day....

  • Keep your religious habits as it is... I pray that you will be practicing the TLM and not the N.O.

  • Beautiful nuns wearing beautiful habits.

  • JUst don't "go" Novus Ordo sisters and chuck your religious habits!

  • Now that these traditional Anglican nuns are now Roman Catholic and have the altar facing the people, I suspect that next they will all start learning to play the guitar, wear lipstick and throw out their habits...all in the spirit of Vatican II of course!

  • This is great!! I read the story about this last year but hadn't seen the video .. " .. that they may be one ..." Praise God!

  • welcome home sisters. Jesus and Mary love you!

  • Welcome dear Sisters. May the Almighty continue to bless you and may your joining us be the blessing that is manifest. +

  • A bishop under 70 is unlikely to have any knowledge or experience celebrating Mass in the style that was used prior to the Second Vatican Council. Of course, there are now younger priests who are learning the old way, but anyone who has been a priest long enough to be a bishop now would have been a priest during the 1960's and 1970's, when the old way was prohibited.

  • I had the honor of being at this event and seeing the sisters who taught me as a boy in Philadelphia join me in communion with the See of Peter.

Dadcatholic, the temporary altar was set up for the bishop who was unaccustomed to celebrating ad orientem. The hymn tune is called 'Austria" and was composed by Joseph Haydn in 1797
