Actually, I use a 1080i camera, I then downscale the footage for youtube. They're not THAT expensive, and when you work with video as often as I do it's a good investment. The camera I use for hidef stuff is a Canon HG10

He keeps talking about the amazing quality but come on, it's an extremely simple minigame... slide finger up screen, the ball either goes in or it doesn't... it's not that great. Maybe fun for about 5 times but not much more. I personally wouldn't pay for it.

Yes, but this type of quick play experience is exactly what you want on a device like this. It's for killing small amounts of time and have a bit of fun while doing it. the Quality I refer to is the "fit and finish" of the game, which really is significantly better than many other apps on the iphone.

I thought the HD was very underwhelming. It doesn't seem any better the the old "high quality" option, but it does load much slower.

I've seen other channels where their HD option doesn't have that problem though, and actually looks like high definition.

Excellent Game!

In my book, a good game has good gameplay.

Games shouldn't be rated by shader effects, hi-def graphics and how much bloom they can throw in your face.

This game is a perfect example of what I mean, there are many games out there for the iPhone/Ipod Touch which have awesome graphics, but are lacking in gameplay.

It has little to do with commercialized stuff being "the only way to survive" or anything else.
