  • This is a powerhouse of a song, thank you so much for posting !

  • What a tremendous set of pipes.

  • Saw them (the original trapeze) at the semana allegre festival in san antonio in1996 all three signed my white fender fretless bass! And i stiil have it! Plus an autographed trapeze t-shirt! Glen hughes, Mel Galley and Dave Holland. Oh Yeah!

  • happy memories

  • Wish I had seen him in concert.

  • Was never lucky enough to see them but have all of their material!! Still rockin'!!

  • @teegar100 LOVE TRAPEZE - I have all their albums too!

  • I saw Trapeze in The Greyhound in Fulham, London. It was a pub in the 70's and they were great.

  • @canturgan i went there a lot ,fulham palace road ,if i remember well you could look down on the bands, what good times eh!

  • @goodbits99 Yeah, we saw a lot of great bands there including Camel and some others that didn't make the big time.

  • Hey Mudcatblue, thanks for posting this great video, feel free to post the whole gig on youtube;-)))

  • It was 1975 I mis typed

  • I saw them in Dallas at the Cotton Bowl in 1974 or 75 I cannot remember. The first band was Foghat, then Trapeze, then the Eagles and then the ROLLING STONES. What a show.

  • I remember the Texas Jam in 1974 with Montrose,Trapeze,The Eagles then the Rolling Stones.and HOT outside and a lot of OD's

  • @pilldoc80

yeah 75. Ruined my life, no other concert was ever close!

  • Yeah, what a great material!

  • I saw these guys in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1975, great then as now, they rocked for about 4 hours.

  • one of the best funky metal songs ever..

  • I was there in Memphis at the Shell and help them set up that morning .......cool guys, Glen looked at me and said.......WHATS UP DUDE! LETS GET IT ON!!........I was just 15 then I will ever forget that day........when I pass from this life I will take that day with me......You are the music we are just the band .......am on the cover ........getting high.....

  • You lucky mofa! No disrespect intended, just jealous bloke. It's such a shame all the good intentions of the late 60's/early 70's seem to have been discredited. Call me a jaded ex-hippy but is the world better since gordon Gecko took over? I don't think so. Thank god I have my music to escape to.

  • What about the drummer?? that guy is solid as a rock. A human Metronome.

  • see Glenn honour Mel at The Robin 2-Bilston

UK June 2009 with a full Trapeze Set++

    See you all at'GlennFest'

    LFJ

  • MEL WITH STYLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • mel galley was an awsesome sight on stage in trapeze, with his long leather coat, he commanded the attention of whole crowd including the shy one`s at the back. i am gutted he is not with us anymore.i will never forget ilkeston coop and mansfield odeon,

  • I was at Ilkeston man! Its seared into my brain!

  • great nights at the coop, strife, ufo, trapeze

  • Trapeze was one of the best rock bands ever. No one put on a show with the energy Trapeze did. Great musicians. Solid music.

  • You're really right !

  • Simply the best in classic rock!

Glen & Mel are superstars that should have had more recognition for their excellent music.

    Glen, we love you!

    Mel, God Rest Your Soul

  • Is Mel Galley gone? I was not aware of that.He was a great guitar player. I saw Trapeze many times. Atlanta, Indianapolis, etc.

  • Mel passed away July 1 after a lenghty battle with throat cancer. He was not only a fantastic guitarist but also an excellent vocalist as well. After Glenn had left Trapeze for Deep Purple Mel took over lead vocals on the Hot Wire and Trapeze albums. Those along with You Are The Music album all deserved a lot more recognition. Thanks for the great music. Rest in peace Mel.

  • great band, saw them in atlanta in the 70's w/ spirit @ atlanta civic ctr, they rocked the house!

  • and.... Dont stop the music!!!.Great album,Dave Holland&Glenn is pure muscle(no on this,on the album).

  • glenn hughes the voices of rock

  • He never should have quit Trapeze

  • I absolutely agree.

  • No, you are the music, we are the humbled (by Glenn Hughes and Trapeze)!
