  • The lockers at 3:19 were bad ass. I forgot thier names but they rocked at the clubs all the time.

  • its so funny to see how primitive the breaking was in the west coast compared to the east coast at that time the top rocks were way cleaner in new york the footwork was way cleaner as well... but when i came to poplin and locking the west coast had it on lock!

  • Yo, that shit was classic seeing Ice T talking about break dancing! Hahaha!

  • whats that tune playing ..."lets rock" ?????

  • IceT is as much a sellout (as 1 hater has put it here) as Louis Armstrong. If anything, he sold out his words here, though. Saying 'he's trying to draw the kids away from gangs;' & when the market was there for it, teaching them a criminal mindset.

At any rate, these producers really play out that "Let's Rock" song in this video.

  • Jazzy D and Ice T use to rock the Mic back in 1982 some true O/G's

  • Ice T is a sellout

  • that guy@4:54 is charles the robot washington. he was in a group called the campbell lockers, He invented the robot, for those of you who didnt know.

  • ice never claimed to be in a gang. he was a crip affiliate tho. he said that on gangland

  • :)Oh man no, but I still got most of it. I like to dance around with my sons every now and then. Showing them how it used to be done back in the day and they've caught on surprisingly fast.

  • Me too. Ive been looking for this all my adult life. I battled some kids at a ski resort a few wekks ago when the dj took it old skool. What a trip it was. My family was in awe!

  • Ah man, you got your battle on! That's cool stuff right there. :)

  • Is that post captain and funky bunch members?

  • I was about 13 yrs old back then and a hell of a popper. I had the chinese headband, the gerri curl, baggy pants and all. I remember dancing with my friends in backyards, the mall, on sidewalks just anywhere spontaneously. It was truly an unforgettable era. I remember gliding in a circle for this 8yr old kid in the mall and it blew his mind. There has never been a dance style nor ever will be that captivates people like poppin and boogaloo did and does. Great times man, great times.

  • u still practice?

  • this style was amazing! but it will never be forgotten as long has u incorperate it into ur own style of dance u'll be in a way bringing back a one of the best style of dance ever created

  • I MISS THIS STYLE.
