Thanks for the support. Jacob endorsed Alexi last week, and Alexi was elected the Democratic nominee on Tuesday. He will have to compete against Mark Kirk in November. Jacob supported Alexi after he adopted his education and economic platform, so you can be assured that the issues that were important to the students at Gage Park will remain so with Alexi.

@lauraneiu1 Jacob really enjoyed being part of the class and has talked about the students repeatedly on the campaign trail. He addressed the immigration issues here and understands that the students and their families face.

I saw him on the hallway that day!!! I also work there... !!! I like the video and I really hope he also supports the DREAM ACT or other reform to give these students legal status.. as he mentioned on the video about the "half of these students have health care".. also.. half of those students need help.. and supporting the DREAM ACT will be something beneficial for them and many more students..

I Went To Gage Park High School, And When I Was There... There Were No Programs That Could Of Prepare Us To Go To College.. The Program That Helped Me To Be Prepared For College Was Avid, And Thanks To Ms. Steinmiller!!! Good Job In This Interview!!

when I was at Kelly... it happened to me the same.. I didnt have support to go to college.. but I still went.. even though I was not sure what to expect... now I work at GP guiding students to apply and attend college..
