this was the very first farm aid i remember it very well i was like 15 the year was 85 or 86

I was at this show. I just remember being a bit let down that Mr. Mellencamp only sang three songs. I wanted more!!! Most acts only did 3 or 4 songs, due to the large number of artists. People actually booed when Alabama only did two songs. And freakin' George Jones wouldn't leave. He must have done 8 or 9 songs. Too bad that John, as one of the founders of the show, couldn't have stayed on longer. Thanks for the memories!
