I think well EA producers that produced C&C3 and Generals wich were great games with no complaints aren't the same ones that produced RA3 and C&C4 wich kinda messed up the RA and C&C series

When a game company tries to continue a story, like with Fallout 3, Red Alert 3 and C&C 3, they go off the story line because they don't have the original information. These games are still good, but sometimes too different. When EA made C&C Generals they made their own story line, that is why it is so good.

Why do all the endings in recent C&C games have to be so short. It always seems like a bit of an anti-climax after 9 or so epic battles. C&C 3 endings were short, Red Alert 3 were a bit longer but these are pathetic. You don't even get offered a date this time hahaha! :-D Still, was a couple of days fun playing through this.

EALA did a great job on the C&C 3´s, but Petroglyph did a great job on Universe at war:earth assault AND star wars:empires at war or something, but since you posted this 2 years ago you've changed ur mind by then perhaps

EA hasn't done a terrible job, i still like Westwood more, but EA hasn't done terrible. RA3 was actually a good game, if you can overlook the plot that doesn't take itself seriously, it's a pretty good game.

Carville was my favourite general too. Sadly, I doubt that if there was a new sequel of Red Alert, the Ra3 timeline would be most likely continued, or a new one created, rather than a Ra1/Ra2 one. It's because RA3 was created mostly by completely different people, from EA LA, and many good people left since EA has eaten Weswood. These new guys might be great at graphics and stuff, but they are not as good at creating a specific atmosphere and giving the good, old Red Alert feel in the game.

They could actually try and make the scenes interesting, though that's not something EA is usually in the habit of doing. I'd say the only time they put some effort into the righting was in CnC3 and in the Empire's campaign in RA3, and maybe a bit in Generals, which I say because I've the opinion that China was originally intended to serve as villain faction.
