In case you guys don't know, Tera is an mmo. Aion is an mmorpg. So is WoW, so is Lineage II, so is everything else we play (mostly). So yeah, they are ALL gona have a charachter that you control in the center of the screen, a portrait with your hp/skill resource, action bars.. and guess what? PEOPLE PLAYING OTHER THAN YOU! so you gona have Partys, Guilds, boss fights and mass pvp fights. Please, dont bother saying an MMo is the rip off of another one. They are all MMOs, the concept IS the same.

I've watched a few upcoming games. GW 2, Blade&Soul, Diablo 3, and a few others. This preview is by far the weakest. I guess it's not as showy as the others. Doesn't have any O_O WOW holy shit effect to it. Just seems really plain. Boring. But Looks aren't everything. So hopefully we'll get to see some more previews with more depth.

Developers What the hell are you doing with Tera , what are you doing with the size of the weapons, what are you doing with the size of male human body, the body is like a giant ,stay with the realistic look like lineage II, no huge joke weaopns or armors, make a well proportion of the body, no anabolic body with a tiny rat head.

The design of the overall game is amazing, but you are but they are distorting the realism with things such enormous and disproportionate.

Change to 1 handed sword.

O__O You know there could be a really nice personality hidding under those curves.^.^ But it looks like the Warrior seems to be the closest to an Assasin and I love that class so warrior all the way for me. (coming from Aion)

@StrainChain warriors are evasive tanks that can do decent dps, If you want to smash peoples face in go Berserker or Slayer both those are dps classes, berserker is single target and slayer is AOE

Paying monthly fees keeps the company raking in money so it can afford to turn a title into a game which spans for years to come instead of only offering 1 or 2 bug fix patches and on to the next project like a standard game. Sounds like what you want is an RPG, not an MMO.

I am currently subscribed to zero MMO games, but I have been in the past, and the ongoing additions made to games of this genre would be impossible to derive for extended periods of time from box sales alone, at least of the quality which consumers have come to expect.

You don't have to like it, and you don't have to pay for it - but there are people who do so willingly because for them, the MMO game formula or more particularly, a specific MMO title may have exactly what they want in a game, and paying for content updates, game improvements and an expanded list of features rather than starting all over in another game only to find themselves less fulfilled and entertained makes it the preferred choice.

Don't hold your breath - MMOs are notorious for incompetence in either:

a) Game Engine/Content Design

b) Software/Hardware stability (i.e. "Polish")

c) Management/Public Relations

d) Any Combination of the Above
