haha, funny, this is the last video i randomly selected before i resumed watching my DVD collection of 'the family guy'.! sweet recording set up, very nice! one recommendation; i would back up my most important projects on to DVD (if they fit), external hard drive failure does happen, happened to a friend of mine! thanks for sharing...
you're right about these females, they think you owe them something and they always think someone is trying to get at them,I'm in DC and it's terrible with the motivation and work ethic trying to work with people.
I totally agree with being an indepedent song writer/recorder! I'm only 16 and i'm already setting up a home recording studio in my room. I have a real passion for music and the creation of it. It is the funnest thing in the world to me. I'm hoping my band will write a few originals soon so we can record them in my room!
What a great person you are. Thanks for sharing. I will definitely be subscribing to your channel. You can tell you are an honest, genuine, independent person. Very rare on YouTube these days. Very nice set-up by the way & good luck with your music. Home made has got way more soul. PEACE!
@prince4d Gateway, 4GB ram, 320 HD at 7200rpm. You need the fast drive for music recording, 1MB video card at 8400 speed and fast 9400 speed ram. 17 inch monitor. Thanks
beautiful! very nice set up and I know 100% where you're coming from it's good to be independent cause singers can be a pain in the ass to work with believe me I know from exp.
I'm planning on investing in Logic 9 studio plus a UA-25ex and mic. Could you recommend a half decent mic please? I want to be able to produce at least the same quality I did with my last singer when we recorded at her place, we put a track on myspace dot com /the48smusic if you don't mind taking a listen
@virtualsongwriter Iike your video. I am a female singer/songwriter and now producer thanks to the same types of people you were discussing in your video I was forced to work alone but I have to thank them because they only made me stronger. I subscribed to your channel would love to hear your music.
Nice setup! I'm considering the UA-25 for recording the guitar and I have a few questions if don't mind. Is it possible to run a cable from the guitar right into the UA-25 without needing a mic and amp and then use software based guitar effects? Is the latency reasonable in this device? Any cons you've found?
@NoisyStrings Yes you can, I record from my guitar into the UA-25, then use the internal amps and FX. I have no latency issues. I use the ASIO driver. No cons, it's nice.
You got it together bro... as time goes on you'll want a good MicPreAmp, good clean "Gain". Get a Rode NT1A Mic. Folks will know you are serious... Plus you'll B amazed. Keep singin' bro.. Keep that Pro attitude!
Pretty cool... I almost have the same setup! =) I just use Rokit monitors instead and I use SONAR 8.0 LE.. Can you help me out a bit with that PCR-500? I've spend all day reading and I still can't make it work..! =/

Thanks Jennifer/BryanMusic. It's better to be independent. Let me know if you need some kind of help.

The UA-25 is the sound card. That's all you need to record. You don't need the computer sound card.
