Soon we will be able to see an entire documentary about these splendid elephants and Sharon's work with them in Hwange, Zimbabwe. Sharon Pincott you really are an inspiration to those who strive to live their dreams. I salute you for all of your commitment and dedication to these wild ellies and salute you again for your spunk continuing to stay on in Hwange even when worthless people continue to try to make life so difficult for you. Long may you endure. For the ellies and wildlife conservation
I had to respond again and urge you on to post more elephant videos Sharon. There is nothing like seeing these amazing Zimbabwean elephants in the flesh, in the wild, in Hwange, but if you cannot do that then this is the next best thing. Keep up the fabulous work that you do for these remarkable creatures. You are to elephants what Jane Goodall is to chimpanzees and Dian Fossey was to gorillas. You belong beside Cynthia Moss in the elephant world. WELL DONE for helping our earth's elephants.
I am loving this!!!! Share this around for the good of Zimbabwe's widlife. These elephants are incredible. I found out about Sharon Pincott and her excellent work in the wildlife magazine Africa Geographic (March 2011 one). For those who love elephants do a search of Sharon's name and go to her website. Despite all that is going on in Zimbabwe these elephants are well worth going to visit. Yes amazing indeed. thankyou.
Elephant, animal, Africa-lovers TAKE NOTE! This lady in Zimbabwe is now writing stories for the South African Getaway magazine. Visit website getaway.co.za and you will love her stories and photos under Blogs.
I have just finished reading this lady's book (The Elephants and I, I bought it on Amazon). This video clip epitomises her relationship with these elephants. If you are watching this clip know that you will enjoy her book immensely.
Nicholas Evans wrote the book titled The Horse Whisperer. This lady is definitely an Elephant Whisperer. She can truly talk to the animals, and it sounds like they talk back.
WOW! How incredible that a human being can form such relationships with wild elephants. I bought Sharon's book (The Elephants and I) on the web and it's so inspiring. Elephants like this one feature in her story, along with her incredibly inspiring life in Zimbabwe.
Just over a week ago I got back from a short volunteer project in South Africa where I happened to pick up Sharon's book (having a particular interest in elephants, the cover caught my eye). I've almost finished reading it now, and I find her such an inspiration. I just read a part where she marvels over someone calling her their hero. She shouldn't be surprised. She is a hero. I can only hope that one day I'll have the courage to do something so brave, life-changing and world-changing.
Long live Lady and the her family....nice work Sharon...precious to see Lady as your friend.
