i watched shawn's performance,and on her double double she did not even made a step on the line,and that woman raised a flag!

but here in chengs case,she stepped out and the flag wasn't raised!

@markoth97 there are 4 flag 'holders', on each corner, and they are only responsible for their corner. cheng fei goes out of bounds in the lower left corner, which the flag holder cannot be filmed

@markoth97 yes... but come on... you cannot compare their routines. I am a fan of both Nastia an Shawn Johnson, but Cheng Fei is much MUCH cleaner in her tumbling. Let's just take as an example the triple twist. No crossed legs, comparative with Nastia's crossed legs(which are crossed in all her tumblings - but she always uncross them on landing -, except for the double front where we have the opposite situation). And the routine is also more difficult. Is correct to have a higher score.

@qlavi i know,and i like all three of them,and nastia is crossing legs and she is getting deductions obviously,and she like cheng is soooo much more artistic than johnson! but again nastia is trying to do routines perfectly,and she often can almost do them perfectly and she can get a score that passes 15.500,without such a high start value that shawn and cheng have!

Wow I have no idea how she handled that pressure. The entire world waiting for her to prove her worth in 90 seconds. Her whole life building up to one moment and her the legacy of her career resting on one floor routine.

This for me was the most memorable moment of 2008 - I was elated to see her stick that 2 1/2 twist and China to take gold!
