  • @Thedevil7139 nope

  • I don't get why so many people gave this movie bad reviews. It kept my ADD interest all 2 hours and I really appreciated the level of graphical work and the plot. Lots of thought went into this.

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE WITH A BURNING PASSION! :D

  • I'm pissed, I can't find a ANY Canadian City with this release date for IMAX 3D. Not a single one, let alone my own city.

    wtf. >:\

  • jeff bridges had to play Solid Snake would if they had at the time a movie of Metal Gear Solid. It would have been perfect! Hyena Pliskin Rulez!

  • @LoSteveJoker Old Snake Yes.. Hugh Jackman for Young Snake.. And Uma Thurman for The Boss

  • oh sure all ther care about is sam and flynn and quora and all those guys but they dont give a crap about daft punk thats just not nice

  • I have no idea why so many people hate the movie. " The story line sucked, I thought it would be better.....BLAH! BLAH! BLAH!" give me a break! Personally it was the best movie i've ever seen!!! Thumbs up if you agree!?!?!

  • nice video here wow cool indeed

  • i really like the movie :D

  • was this movie ever in 3D?

  • @shant07 Best 3D movie I ever saw. The colours, the sound, the music!

  • They're throwing hard drives ...

  • kerdas5 this is the second the first one was just made a long time ago

  • i would love to see a tron 2

  • steve jobs is in the grid....

  • @onedeerantler too soon? haha

  • @onedeerantler too early

  • @onedeerantler the I Grid

  • Reisudo is clearly lying about working on it and if anyone cant see the connection between the two then they are idiots lol...legacy was real good one of the best movies to come out in a long time the first tron got me into computers...i cant decide which is better the Tron or Legacy

  • 1:25 OWNAGE XD

  • I love how Tron himself is pretty much in the whole movie, you just don't realize it unroll Kevin Flynn points him out.

  • nice ?

  • @reisudo I know this is like, 5 months after the fact, but good lord, this is one of the most amusing comment wars I have ever seen. Word of advice, don't ever start a war when everyone is clearly against you, Mr. "I worked on Tron."

  • @reisudo "Tron was better than Legacy"

    Indeed

  • The original TRON was good too

    A program called RAM EXPLODED!

  • @mikolajdudek he didnt explode he derezzed although it was the old version of the derezzing

(you know just glow then vanish)

  • please, tell me the name of the song in this video!!!!

  • @reisudo then go watch the original Tron. we'll enjoy Legacy.

  • it's so purdy :)

  • i agree with someone17 its NOT the same movie. Also Not the same person who directs. So different grind and CLU got destroyed in BOTH movies!

  • Great Movie!

  • @NZWolf2 I dread to think what your favourite film is then :P!

  • 5 illegal programs got de-rezzed by the MCP. End of line.

  • @BenJabituya lol the MCP isn't even in tron legacy

  • I think Quorra and Gem are hot! End of line.

  • @BenJabituya end of line, what a great song

  • @BenJabituya Agreed!

  • @BenJabituya

    Meh, gem is too... traitory.

  • @BenJabituya Yeaahh. I couldn't take my eyes of Quorra's and Gem was plane sexy

  • This sounds so MassEffectish, I love it!!

  • Anyone who couldn't enjoy Tron Legacy is simply a movie nazi.

Not every movie needs to be a cinematic masterpiece.

  • does anyone have the lyrics?

    can somebody post it?

    thank you!

  • @reisudo . . . sorry man just not buyin it.

  • 90s, before then it was used only for very highly funded purposed and even then it was nothing more than very basic stuff. That being said, email simply did not exist, let alone facebook. Without an internet connection, there is absolutely no way Clu would have any knowledge of FB or email. This is why the pager is far more plausible. If you feel the original was better then that's fine, I can see that even if I disagree. I'm not arguing which is better, but you saying one is more realistic.

  • @Dfeeds145 Email has existed years before the first Tron. Early 1960's to be exact. It's just that it wasn't completely public until, like you said, the 90's.

  • @reisudo I could care less if you're getting paid. I never said it was anyone, I said it wasn't meant to be Sam. Obviously it was supposed to be someone to get Kevin's attention. You keep failing to realize one simple fact here and that's that there is no internet. The system that Tron Legacy takes place in was designed in the late 80s. Flynn disappeared in 89 which makes it impossible for him to make any significant changes. Also if I'm not mistaken, the internet only became public in the early

  • @reisudo Hmmmm you think you'd be more professional oh well not all liars can sell it . . .

  • @reisudo LMAO. You should be a comedian your post is hilarious!

  • pager for one reason. It was specifically stated that while Clu knew Sam existed, he wasn't specifically trying to reach him. Flynn said himself that Clu was simply trying to CHANGE THE GAME and got way more than he bargained for with Sam. Clu was trying to see if he can reach out in some way to cause something that would give Kevin incentive to come out of hiding. It's all right there in the script... albeit hidden in many cases, but it's all there.

  • @reisudo There is not a single thing believable about Tron! Even though they explained the laser, that still doesn't account for the fact that every single program he encountered had emotions and individual thought (Yori and Tron kissing!?). I made the joke myself that a parachute would never deploy that fast, but it was still cool to watch. Which is what it all comes down to. Is it fun to watch? Like I said, neither is more believable than the next. The email would be less believable than a

  • @reisudo you definitely had nothing to do with the making of this film, idiot.

  • @reisudo lol another cute, immature insult and telling me things about creature and character creation related aspects that I already know about. Wow, your hilarious. ^_^

  • ok. ive seen the first tron movie and now i wonder: wheres tron?

  • @nicflicks watch Tron Legacy again and pay attention. Tron is in the movie...

  • @reisudo In fact, it is specifically stated that they are not similar. The original Clu program was designed to hack into the MCP and grab Flynn's old file. The new Clu was designed to maintain and run the new Grid, similar to an MCP, and was capable of independent thought (also not possible in any way, which mute's your pager argument). They just had the same name and nothing more. The first Tron had a more technical sounding script, but was by no means more "realistic" than the second.

  • Comment removed

  • @reisudo do you have any idea what you're talking about? Even a novice programmer will know that C++ is a programming LANGUAGE not a script. Second, are you seriously arguing the whole Clu issue? If I made a program called "Jeff" and had it deleted without back ups, I could just as easily create a second program with the same parameters and call it "Jeff" without any issue. They won't be the exact same but the two Clu programs weren't either, nor were they intended to be the same in any way.

  • @reisud Lol. Your funny. ^_^

  • @reisudo LOL it's a sci-fi fantasy movie not a hard science film or a documentary film about real life, it's silly that your nitpicking over superflous things. Your an amusing troll, you make me laugh. Hilarious. LOL.

  • @reisudo The arcade has an old phone line, while the computer system containing the Grid is not connected to the INTERNET itself, it's still connected to an old phone line. Clu sent a signal from the Grid that reached the pager Flynn gave Alan. Flynn's known to do a little hardware hacking, as well as software hacking... the pager was set up to recieve a signal from that old phone line. Flynn wrote a second,NEW Clu program, completed his creation on the Grid (the scene with the mirror).

  • @reisudo the thing about how Clu was able to send a message unfortunately wasn't explained in the film, but it was explained before the film even came out via viral marketing...I know your all "whaaaaa they should have explained it in the film" boo fckign whooooo get over yourself..not every little detail of every single thing can be covered in a 2 and a half hour film...stop your bitching.

and how can Clu be remade? uhm it's just like anything in real life that gets deleted can be rewrote. duh

  • @reisudo i seriously dubt u worked on the film. if u did you wouldn't be asking silly questions. and if u want me to "explain" i'll first need u to tell me what it is u need explaining? without telling me to read your previous comments.

  • @reisudo Why should I have to explain? watch the friggin movie and pay attention.

  • @reisudo dude..u don't know what ur talking about. things that connect the first and second movie were nto hinted at. they were made plain as clear as day.

  • "make the perfect system." Disregarding flaws with *that* logic (yet another digression), he was essentially an administrator program, designed to keep order and improve the Grid while Flynn wasn't there. Even if Flynn had saved Clu's original code, he would have much use for it - there's no connection to anything else, and Clu has access to everything anyway. What use is a hacking program? "Clu" as a name is pure nostalgia: C.L.U. stands for "Codified Likeness Utility" which is meaningless.

  • that was either because a) it was familiar to Flynn, or b) it's just the way all the little computer worlds work. The Legacy!Grid was a bit Lord-of-the-Flies, but that's another digression.

As for Clu - he wasn't the same. Clu1 was a hacking program, designed to get onto ENCOM's servers and find proof that Flynn really did create those video games. He was derezzed in the first ten minutes of the movie as a sort of introduction to the plot. Clu2, the one we saw in Legacy, was created to

  • Um. Hi, new to the debate here, but I think I might be able to clear some things up. As I understand it, the closest thing to anything called "the Grid" in the original was "the Game Grid" - Sark's gladatorial arena. The computer world visited in the first movie was the ENCOM system and the "area" around it. Flynn's Grid, the one visited in Legacy, is a closed system - it's not hooked up to the internet like ENCOM's was, or I assume ENCOM's was. Many of the in-Gird rules were the same, but

  • @reisudo like i said...even without all the stuff that shows us what happened between the first and second film. there is no reason to be confused by the story. u don't even need to see the first movie to understand this one.. this film connects perfectly with the last film..if u can't see that, then u are blind

  • @reisudo kk. i'm calling B.S on your comment "I helped on the CG work idiot"

Are u trying to say you actually worked on the CGI for the film? if so that makes u the biggest bit-brain ever.

How can you work on this film and not know that this Grid is on an entirely different server from the last film and that this Grid was the one Flynn himself created? there is plenty of stuff that CLEARLY makes this info plain.

    you sir, are bit-brain

  • i love quorra's character. i mean, she doesn't act slutty

  • @reisudo The movie was an alternate timeline to the Tron story. It's like how Star Trek 2009 was to the Star Trek franchise.

  • @reisudo your an idiot dude, did you even watch legacy? its not based in the original grid, its his own home version of the grid he reproduced. and yes CLU was destroyed in the first movie but in the beginning of the second one he recreates him on his own grid he made. Legacy is NOT based on the same grid as the original. Legacy explains that entire thing in the movie easily.

  • @someone17

    "your"...

  • This video was just added to a music playlist at JustPlay.fm

  • Comment removed

  • @NinjasSoul Dumbass. It would be called TRON: (Something else) as Legacy is the second TRON

  • @599Network do you even know what legacy means?

  • @599Network TRON: EVEN MORE OF A LEGACY.

  • cool =D <3<3<3

  • New era of operating systems? I say Windows TRON.

  • olivia's a babe :D

  • i hate cliffhangers -.-

  • This movie is so gread so awsome.. i realy love it.. i love all the charas and all the music all the disings i love all realy.. im relay in love and i like tron al lot more than before xD <333

  • Awsome Movie & Soundtrack

  • Daft Punk and Michael Sheen. Fuckawesome.

  • The whole concept for this movie was Daft Punk walking up to a Universal Studios executive and saying, "Hey, mind making us a music video?"

  • @dendoiii Tron is Rinzler!

  • tron using 2 rings. lolhax

  • quorra is fiiiiiiiine

  • I LOVED Legacy because it sorta plays on my interest to have a connection with whomever created this universe & that s/he may not be "perfect" as most assume. Quorra is lucky for having personally interacted w/the "creator" of her world, the emotions in her voice as she explained meeting him the 1st time gave me goosebumps, I hope one day I can experience the same...

  • I FUCKING LOVE THIS MOVIE OMG!!!!!!!!!

  • We want Bruce Boxleitner (Alan Bradley ) In Tron 3 with a better face capture system (facecap) the time he was younger! and a better scripting.

  • Wish I had that stick that they used that made the bikes

  • @NinjaOfFire24 I would love a light-cycle for a car. It would have to be the kind from Legacy though since they are the ones that can actually slow down, stop, not leave a trail, and turn on more than a 90 degree angle.

Just imagine though, walk out into the parking lot jump forward and spawn a bike.

  • @CrashB111 imagine driving it out on a regular street and having it completely dissolve. lol Light Cycles can't handle rough floors.

  • @ddrmaxman then get a Light Hummer like Quora, it handles off-grid just fine.

  • @CrashB111 true, actually, I'd rather take the wheels off the Light Hummer and put them onto the light cycle somehow. Then you get the awesomeness of a Light Cycle, with the toughness of the Light Hummer!

  • this film does pwn avatar in my personal view . yea scripting might have been better, but i think they did the tron world justice , which many other remakes/sequels etc failed at doing..and yea the soundtrack rocks.

  • Rinzler is Rick Astley

  • im buying the movie 4 my ipod JUST because of daft punk

  • @Acid346 Or you can buy the movie music :)

  • Just good scripting and this film would pwn the damn AVATAR

  • @braun3812 AVATAR annoyed me, Marines should've won but James Cameron is a tree hugger.

  • Still can't rap my head around tron being reprogeamed

  • wow

  • the guy at 0:35 is tron? because i watched it and im sure he was someone else

  • @ZonicX2 no, that guy is Rinzler. Tron just had the same looking outfit at the end of that movie.

  • @dendoiii Rinzler is Tron. Clu changed Tron and in the end, Tron gains his free will back and remembers that his job is to protect the user so he attacks clu.

  • @dendoiii Rinzler is Tron.

  • @ZonicX2 Tron is rinzler.

  • ...3/5

  • the top is to actually take place in a movie!!feel and react !! that would be crazyy!!

  • i cn watch this movie again and again and again!

  • 2 people are living in another dimension.

  • Now they are going to wait ANOTHER 28 years for the next Tron.

    What will that look like..

  • how about showing them the OLD Tron?

  • awsome backround music

  • no comment on Quorra? Come on she looks hot!

  • Comment removed

  • @Abitlikethis hah your right ! :D

  • @Abitlikethis Yeah true BUT...... at the end she does look like a bit of a special sat on the back of flyns bike looking around with her mouth open, that part killed her charictor off for me. not really into the retard look :/

  • @Abitlikethis no comments on gem?that siren chick?

  • gives me chills

  • i would love to see a man in a tron outfit with a bike ,in the future of course lol ;)

  • Yeah, well. That's like your opinion man.

  • @deektedrgg Lebowski!

  • hahaha! Sooner or later, there really will be a Grid!

  • @BryanRiel digitizing ray might be pricey though

  • @jokerpunk117 hahah true! but we are truly living in the generation where evrything is pricy lol

  • @BryanRiel what if there is a grid that would come to real life and the light cycles man that would be kick a##

  • @BryanRiel just wait till they can tap into our nerves. visual data will be fed directly to our brain. feelings, touch, smell. everything can be simulated. too bad we cant do this now lol ><

  • @BryanRiel I hope so ;A;

  • @BryanRiel Cyberspace DOES already exist, we just havent been digitized there yet.

  • @jokerpunk117 i bet the same for time travel hahaha. someday, i wanna get into a Delorean, explode into time, and shake hands with my older or younger self :)

  • @BryanRiel but you might fuck up the present

  • @jokerpunk117 true hahahah totally true dude. i just gotta keep to the Back to the Future facts hahah!!!

  • wish this song was longer!

  • Can't imagine what life-like seems like in 30 years considering this would have been 100x as realistic as real life to people in the 70s.

  • TRON: LEGACY

  • I LOVE the music from this movie, especially the main theme such as The Grid :)...!!! Daft Punk is great, there's a lot of emotion in their music for the movie.

  • awesome movie, a sight to see visually, cgi effects were beautiful in this movie, i just loved all the lights

  • okay i might sound stupid but i have a question: What or who is TRON? i watched the first movie and from what i understand, TRON is a program that Flynn meets and helps him defeat the master control program. But here, in the 2nd movie, TRON is the world? i'm so confused:P

  • @Pinkpapi yes and yes. they are both

  • @Pinkpapi and it is VERY confusing i understand

  • @Pinkpapi

Tron was a program created by Alan that helped Flynn beat the MCP, I presume that the system Flynn and Tron later created was named in his honour

  • Comment removed

  • The music makes it worth watching again and again....probably still in 30 years.

  • The world of tron makes me shit bricks.

  • i was a kid when i saw the original Tron...it was pretty advanced back then...I was laughing at my dad's 1970 IBM minicomputer...

  • i hope they don't wait another 30 years to make tron 3.0....

  • the thing i didn't understand was why kevin flynn didn't have a plan to get back out. should've left alan a message he was stuck in the fucking grid with his psychotic alter-ego program.

  • Tron realy kicked amazing amounts of ass in this movie, even more than in the original!
