I have an F-20 Tiger Shark Prop jet. I got it at a swap meet and i got it pretty cheap RTF for $250 with a super tigre .91 glow in it. Anyways, i was testing the ailerons and (they are full wing) and i noticed i don't have much throw. I put everything on the inner hole. I am used to flying parkzone parkfliers so is that normal for gas planes to not have much throw? Note: This plane will be flying over 100mph.
please help i am new to rc and have a new plane but it wont start i have read the instructions over and over. It seems to be firing but wont carry on. Also prop gets stuck half way round please help :((
Isn't it dangerous to use your bare hand to start the engine? Never dared to myself, I always use either an electric starter or a stick-like object lol :)
@kawasaki228 ROFL yeah....looooool ive been watching this guys vids ever since he started and i couldn't exactly pin point it..but come to think of it..LOL
ok this might be a stupid question i been flying electric and i just got my first nitro its a cessna 182 skylane. and in this video you prime your engine by spinning the prop counter clockwise but start it by hitting the prop clockwise...is that just how your engine works or most engines like that because i just started my plane still trying to figure out the needle valve settings..and for me i prim and start going the same direction please tell me if im doing this wrong.
Hobby King for the price or there are a lot of other dealers on the web, just google "rc models" and search from there.........And hey Kudos alishanmao for a good vid on looking after your engine...... ;)
jeeze now i feel bad, my nitro plane has not been started in about a year, poor baby, I really should at least run her for a while. lol maybe even fly her. been at least 3 years since she's been airborn, hope she still remembers how. thanks for the reminder.
@SPAGHETTIMONSTER1 I normally add after run oil into engine and leave my planes alone. But once in a while I do start the engine for half a tank even if I do not fly it.
@alishanmao she gets the after run oil, is an older hanger 9, Xtra Easy. I started getting into the EF heli's a couple years ago. so really haven't done much with my planes. anyways is nice (people like you) giving tips for others, and reminders for the ones like me lol, keep up the good work, thanx again
@alishanmao so true....if you want your engine to last and remain faithful (!), then you need to treat it correctly. After run works wonders with engines that are not going to be used for one reason or another for a long time :)
is that being started reverse? like is it being pushed backwards so itll run forward? mines having issues running backwards and ive seen things about starting them backwards so they'll go forwards
Hi i,m from the netherlands. Just so you know who is watching you haha lol. You refill your plane with the smal tube with the srcew inside. So basically you have 3 metal tubes in your tank? one for the carb and one fore the pressure on the exaust and one for the refill? I like the work you are doing and i,m almost a fan. see ya
@gcshawkey I think you are wrong my man. Its just the camera angle that makes the radio and strap look very close to prop. In fact i am always careful bout those things and I am sure there were pretty far and at safe distance from Propeller. Maybe you are just too sensitive and too not bold lol
Yup, i just bought another ARF Edge540 Redbull and got a free J3 Cub Nitro with it as a gift. Prepared the plane again. so basically its my Edge540 Redbull V2 :D
How much should I pay to get this plane? I can create some detail by myself at home using forum and proffesional answer,

Dangerous demo. Model should have been tethered, and Tx aerial up, and the tx strap also nearly tangled in the spinning prop.
Sorry, not a good example at all.
