i was driving to north carolina from texas , and i had the same problem with my dodge ram, i replace some parts (swey bar kit, shoks) and i still have the problem, now my truck is in the dealer waiting to be fixed, i wood like to put a complaint.
i also had this problem, but in a 2007 jeep wrangler unlimited.....i fought with the dealership for well over a year with no results.....so i called chrylser canada who never returned my phone calls....great customer service!!!!!
Jeep Wranglers do the same thing. Chrysler is garbage and will not step up to the plate. Solid front axle sucks, thats why most car companies moved to independent front suspension. My Jeep eats up front end parts like its nothing. CHRYSLER JUNK!
@BORN2LOSE13 Most car companies switched to IRS because it rides nicer. Your Jeep has a solid axle because its better off road. If you don't like it, and don't need it, then don't buy it. Simple.

I had no idea until the previous owner who traded it in recognized it and introduced himself one day.
@superfuzz Trucks have a high center of gravity, poor front to rear weight ratios, and a lot of unsprung weight. If you are looking for safety you will not find it in a truck.

I seen that happen to a guy on the freeway 2yrs ago at 60mph,it started out real slow then by the time he had gotten over to the side of the road his truck front end was wobbling back and fourth off the ground till he had come to a stop,he was very lucky,and it is a "catostrophic failure".

This is not a new problem, since 98, the trac bar front end of the 4 wheel drive especially . They sell a steering box stabilizer which i installed on my 2001 2500 4x4, it helped alot, actually stopped all together., when you have a reverse 4-link suspension in the front of the vehicle instead of the ifs like GM, or leaf springs like the old fords, this can happen when maintenance is not performed. what that guy was showing was worn out suspension parts, change the trac bar.

This is not a new problem, since 98, the trac bar front end of the 4 wheel drive especially .
