  • I can say what happens in MY brain i got to build the trippin thing. If you honestly want to stop schools from breeding our children out of having imaginations by repitition and rote... Get your loved ones out of the programing. Reality should be experienced, felt, manipulated and constantly questioned with WHY followed by WHY until your down to the wonder of creations complexity. government programing turns the child to an EGO that follows directions based on fear of the crowds rejection...Sad.

  • The narrator is such a bore

  • idgaf as long as i get paid like a mo fucka

  • please come to singapore buzan :D

  • @laojace

    noob

  • @black5asian why, thank you! :D

  • whats the melody at the start of this video. what song is is from

  • Mind Map sucks. Nobody can say what happens in the brain. EVERYTHING is based on theories

  • @MrJatind3r29 So you think the mind mapping sucks why?

  • nothing new at all what so ever.

if he realize this when he's that old so .....

  • I've always done this naturally. It works. And I have a theory- the strange combinations of basic patterns, animal imagery and domestic/hunting scenes that are found in Paleolithic cavepainting might be an example of an ancient and instinctive

pre-formalised language tendency to organise ourselves through a flowing visual medium. A primal version of what he explains here.

  • WHERE IS MY MIND!

  • I still don't get it how to learn by mind map.. I've tried and yes, it works sometimes...

  • @theinspirething thing is in organizing, and for that you need the essential key words that are present in sentences . By mind mapping you use more percent of your brain than you usually do so ,your question is in place , but think about it and you will get to the answer , thinking is the point ^^, hopefully i gave a good advice :D

  • Okay, Thank you :) @MrSuccessSeeker

  • That gave me a lot of an idea. Thank you very much for uploaded.

  • monotone = monotone.... no shit?

  • @HueJazzz LOL. I think he's good, but it's just funny how many times he reapeated 'monotonous'

  • School is designed to teach you primarily a social order. For Example: The public complains about bullying in school, yet there are no strict systems available to combat this natural human tendency for capricious children to demonstrate power over those who don't conform to norms. It is encouraged in fact. No one teaches you how to deal with people at school, hence: you are a slave to those who understand such things. peace

  • do you make a MindMap once or do you repeat to draw it?

  • so wait u never really showed us how to memorize the stuff =(

i look through things but sadly forget it in a very short period how do i increase that to like forever?

  • Every single brain is brilliant .Bullshit! I was very smart when I was little, now I'm not even an average Joe. No matter how much I try I can't become more smarter!

  • @7Mefisto

I was also considered smart and "with potential" when younger and I am now an rather average John Doe.

I am not sure if it was for the choices I made or something exterior to me.

And I guess you aren't certain of that too. Maybe the education system really doesn't work so ideally as it should and I guess some people end up like you and me because of that. But sometimes it really is our fault, whether we know it and ( can ) admit it or not.

  • Brilliant!

  • it makes me happy to see that this video has 0 dislikes :]

  • school sux. so we hack the network

  • Ok, i hope this works for me, i have exams in one week coming up!! Im going to try it now! Thnx!

  • This Tony dude is Brilliant...

  • An amazing thing just came to mind when watching this video.

I am going to tell a short story. I am 26 years old. When I was 5 I had two "girlfriends" in kindergarten, who wrote me letters. The point of my post is that I very clearly still remember one of them (only this particular is so bright). Why? I didn`t realise until now. The reason is because each word was written in different bright colour. I know exactly how the letter looked like and I have like a memory photo from the letter.

  • i like this kind of info thanks!

  • yea thats true...

  • LogicEmotionaltruth, I've seen your comment on videos you've been on.

Every comment you disagree with someone.

You follow rules, while I follow my own creativity, and imagination is more powerful than rules. I didn't go to school much and thankful because I think more fluid than most.

Check my channel and we check yours. It reveals a big difference.

Use your rules and I'll use my imagination.

The part the education system tried to corrupt with their "rules," but couldn't.

  • Offthehook,

First: My id is not "LogicEmotionaltruth" but "Logicemotiontruth".This minute slip of yours reveals your emotional mind and a lack of eye for details

Second:Disagreeing is not bad,it encourages the person to think

Third:Rules are not always bad.You could use imagination but even there if it is structured a bit,it would be great.Dont use the words "Mindmap" then call it your "Imaginemap" or the like.

Not going to school is not some big cap in your feather as you seem to make it.

  • Small typo:"Big feather in your cap"(Maybe yours rubbed on me Hehe!)

  • @LogicEmotionTruth

"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited..." Albert Eienstien.

You cannot disagree until you discuss with a person.

Instead, like an immature kid, you blatantly shouted, "You're Lying.." We can see your mannerism in other channels.

Teachers, reach a greater understanding, they pm each other, they discuss.

You're immature and I have no time for people like yourself, who bring no value to the table.

    End of Discussion.

  • The greatest clown is you and your mind.Control it,learn this technique and gain benefit from it.You have no locus standi, nor the smarts to comment on Mr.Tony Buzan.Dont make a fool of yourself.People will kick your ass here!

  • Ok i've removed my comment.

  • Great info, but I don't think he is the inventor. little naked people in 3rd world tribal communities were talking about sirius A and sirius B centuries ago and they never stepped foot in a classroom. Youtube wasn't invented yet nor was this guy born yet. just check it out

  • All school does is brainwash children...and bore the hell out of me

  • @Dreckerplayer Yes i think the current eductation system

that i learned from failed! I feel I have a lot of potential,

but all the schools teach is repetition and remembering

boring information. They have taught us something

that will be helpful in developing our mind and critical

thinking skills. It really pains me, but i feel i have to start

all over in retraining my brain, and enhancing my abilities

    to learn!

  • @stockmaster1982

It's like having to reprogram "our" brains. But people really have to be "gutsy" in order to reprogram their brains and take all the non-constructive ( stagnating ) or destructive memes "out of the equation". Don't know nor care if anyone here is religious. Not trying to offend anyone here. But religion is still one of many examples of things stopping the "reprogramming" of the brain.

  • @rpaslux I agree and disagree with what you just said.

Well religion certainly does have a huge effect in the

way you think, and use your brains. Because religion

itself teaches not to live according to your intellects

but to live according to faith. Ofcouse doing, too much

of that, will limit your intellectual abilites. But at the same

time, If God does exist, who says intelligence have

to matter? So i guess i have 2 counter arguments

    for this one!

  • *they

  • Education is so terrible and limited these days...i hate the fact that whenever a child learns differently thy have to be classified as "special".Thats the problem with educators these days...they feel if its not done their way its automatically WRONG

  • what? hmm yeaaa hey .....i whanna smoke what he have:D

  • GenevaSuspension, you can pull the idea out of a sentence. Congratulations. Most can.

The point of mind maps is to use that key idea only and get rid of redundant words. It boils down the sentence until the purist idea is left.

Why have to read a whole sentence for one key idea, when you can have that key idea by itself? Why clutter your mind with unnecessary, excessive words?

  • A proper sentence won't have redundant words, and the "excess" words you write about are required to contextualize the "important" words and ideas.

For example, you pulled the "key words" out of my last post, but completely overlooked my hyperbolic sarcasm.

  • Like the Pixies music reference in the beginning, "Where is my mind, where is my mind, wheeeeree is muh-y mind....."

  • So that's what I've been doing all these years. No wonder I can remember and memorise books after books. My notes, all of them are like that. Images, lines with words and images.

So that's mind mapping. Didn't know it had a name. Learning something new everyday!

  • You are lying, you dont know Mindmapping,it is not a mere words, images and lines. There are some rules to it and buy Tony Buzan's book on the subject and read it.You will remember many more books....

  • Really, I didn't get that impression.

I think he's a bit direct and "dead panny", but I didn't feel pomposity.

He just seems like an intense british fellow.

    Just my opinion

  • Tony, I'm sure mind mapping is marvellous and useful, but the tone of the presentation is pompous & self-righteous & pushy. Al this self important possessive repeated use of 'my my my' as if you're trying to start a cult. Fame makes anyone rotten in the end, I don't blame you. Just look in the mirror. In the end the important thing is caring for others. People sense the intent of the treatment they're getting. Lets just go and play guitar and live simply and less intellectually.

  • Children are NOT taught to THINK but to REPEAT.

    "Education" has been compartmentalized.

Government ACTIVELY prevents children from "thinking too much". If people were actually THINKING they wouldn't follow the "rules" blindly, becoming slaves to the current "system".

This is why TRUE economics is not taught in schools. (Most bankers don't know how the illegal Central Banks work!)

Organized Religion is a perfect example of this form of "education".

School history books are LOADED with lies.

  • lool calm down we're not in 1984

  • WE were in 1984 BEFORE 1984.

    Sleep well.

  • You watched Zeitgeist? You know I do agree with everything you said but don't go off believing everything you see on TV or the internet for that matter. America's goverment's way of doing things sucks...

  • I delve into diaries, "legal" papers, letters and "secret" documents. Minutes from secret organizations and exposes from truly independant sources and find archives of the LIBRARY of CONGRESS very revealing. The worlds "histories" are a pack of lies. The only TRUTHS in all our scools is mathematics - the rich gain from any advancments in that field.

ALL the rest is subjective....propaganda - a means of control.

  • i think you have a MAJOR malfunction dude, the way you depict yourself is that of a hippy, or probably one of those people that bang a bongo while making up poetry off the top of your head, granted, there are a lot of lies in our history books, but could it be that not a lot of people know the truth? however, how the hell do you know weather they're true or not? were YOU alive during those times? if you were then i congratulate you, you are now the oldest person on earth, go and die already.

  • @t4705mb6 This is absolutely right! Are Buzan's teachings on the curriculum of any school boards?

  • @TheQuantumCafe Of course not. In schools, anything that encourages individual critical thinking is frowned upon. There is a very good reason for this. Free thinking endangers ensconced archaic and strictly enforced ideas and rules pertaining to societal interactions. If you think for yourself then you aren't on the well beaten path to the slaughterhouse. No. You are hacking your own path through the jungle of life. Control freaks don't want you to have the knowledge you will find on that path.
