  • Now we know it is merely a swimming fish. A false prediction. A great evolutionist fishing yarn.

    Google:

Fossil Footprints Give Land Vertebrates a Much Longer History, sciencedaily

  • But you don't have a "transitional form" of fish to mammal. Where is that??

  • @StrawberryIce62769 Yes we do, its an amphibious tetrapod named Tiktaalik, I am sure you have heard of it. ;)

  • @StrawberryIce62769 Did you even watch the damm video?

  • What a great video!

  • Interesting clip. Where is it from? Is there more?

  • I saw it on national geographic. Its about darwin and its evolution theory.and transitional fossils. And over how an disturbingly big group of people are very wrong.

  • Actually for every transitional fossil that we find they'll want to find one more before and one more after indeed continuing to move the goalposts.

  • this isin't fair =< we never win the game

  • naw, just because one side is in denial doesn't mean that the other side doesn't still win.

  • Actually all fossils are transitional when you think about it.

  • yeah, it's arguable that every fossil or living being is a transition from what once was and what some day will be, but this is more in reference to "bridging" the gap between the taxonomic groups beyond species.

  • This story is one of those featured in the early chapters of Shubin's book "Your Inner Fish: A Journey into the 3.5-Billion-Year History of the Human Body"

It's not just stories about finding fossils, but really explores our connections with our ancestors. I'm enjoying it a lot. Readable but not patronising.

  • I have the book, I have yet to read it as I have a lot of books to read. There are a lot of great books out there and I am excited about reading this one.

  • Well, the problem is that creationist keep moving the goal posts. Even though we have more fossils then they can explain away.

  • The walls are closing in and have backed creationism in a very tight corner, one bone at a time. One day, scientists will unearth the bones of creationists and study them as a recent, yet primitive form of humans. Hopefully that day will come, where that will be all that's left of their ignorance, a pile of fossilized BONES! Wouldn't that be ironic?!

  • Creationists are already transitional fossils between primitive and modern Man.

  • @jazzx251 hehehehe true!
