  • I think Stevie died at exactly 1am on the morning of the 27th, the helicopter took off at 12:45 or 12:50 and according to the things i've read the crashed helicopter's digital clock was stopped dead at 1am when the found the wreakage after 6am that morning. All on board were to have been killed immediately upon impact, but who knows for sure??...Since the search wasn't begun until more than 5 hours later...insane!?!?! And how come nobody heard anything at the resort or ampitheater..!?!?!?

  • I was at srv's last show. im so glad i went. it sure was foggy . i had to drive 25 30 mph i wish they had not flown that night

  • I've had weird things happen to me... From SRV.

  • Apparently, Vaughan's body was the only body found outside of the crash leading some people to suspect he had actually survived the initial crash, however, vaughan, died from severe blood loss from a severed aorta, I get the feeling if the search team had found the Helicopter right after it crashed they could have saved him. On another note I have read the old grim reaper was after him many times in 1990. The first involved amps almost falling on him and another was almost electrocution

  • Thanks for the info.

  • God wanted Vaughan to play for him in Heaven

  • isnt that in lake troy? because i went there back in december

  • It is near East Troy Wisconsin. I'm not familiar with the Lake, but it sounds like it may be the same area.

  • is this a bar right at alpine.axl rose is the greatest.i never knew he had a place at lake geneva thats cool does he still have the place

  • This is the bar actually at Alpine Valley. It's right next to the cafeteria. I'm not sure if Axl still has the place in Lake Geneva. Probably not.

  • No. He lost the place shortly after he was sued by someone that was hit by a beer bottle he threw back into the crowd. I use to live a half mile down from that estate. It was called the Buddy Bear Estate. I also used to live right behind Alpine Valley as well and I think this guy better lay off the sauce while on the job. It was fun sneaking into concerts up from the golf course getting right up close behind the ampitheater. The first one I ever saw was Def Leopard - Pyromania. Oh the memories.

  • Hey, thanks much for the information and the great stories.

  • what bar is this looks familar.
