SO amazing. This version is a hundred times better than the one on their album, so much so that this live version is my absolute favourite song by this excellent band.
I think it's the sign of a great band when they sound better live than on the album. Too many bands now rely on the studio to sound good, and the emperors clothes are revealed as soon as they play live.
Hey Supercar fans!! I am from Australia, and love these guys. I only got to see them once at Fuji Rock.... Can anyone (nihonjin?!) tell me the if the band member formed any other groups??... or were they already part of other bands??
Kouji is the rhythm guitarist/ lead vocalist. Junji is the lead guitarist. The lead guitar is the one that plays the melody in a song... just thought I'd point that out 0_0
what a shame that they disbanded. They make some of the most beautiful music i have heard my whole life. Their style is very unique compare the mainstream pop that we listen to here in the states.
I understand what you're saying and I agree with you to a certain extent. On the other hand, the vast majority of mainstream pop that's popular in Japan is just as bad as the mainstream pop that's big in the States. Supercar were inspired by groups like MBV in the early days and Radiohead later on. Popular, but not on the level of J-Lo or Ayumi. I think it's pretty much the same everywhere, you just have to find gems among all the rubbish.
im such a supercar freakazoid. this live version has a much different feel than the single. its grittier, more serious, less of a happy optimism...am i babbling?
ur right. im soo addicted to this band too. for some reason they are the only band i listen to on my ipod and i have over 2000 songs. they are the only japanese band there too besides asian kung fu generation. i love em!

Epic. Probably one of the ONLY songs I've ever liked live more than on the album version. R.I.P. Supercar, you'll always be missed :(

Perfectly performed. It's rare to find a song that people would prefer live than the actual album version. Awesome song, awesome band.
