Ggpo sucks dick on sf3 online i get frame skips and setbacks like crazy. "if divergence happens, ggpo setsback and corrects the issue before the player can notice" biggest lie in history. I notice it all the time. -_- all ggpo does is shake my screen with all of its frame skipping and shit and i know its not my connection.

The Street Fighter 3 series is the most technical out of all 4 series. Also its blended between offense and defense. Sf2 is more zoning and spacing it caters to more defensive in that game. SFalpha it caters to offense much more than anything. Sf4 is all over the place. SF4 and SSF4 is very defensive, SSF4AE isn't really offensive until you use the characters that can rush.

I have to agree with you that Garou is an awesome game but they are different games nonetheless. I like everything which is why I like 3S. I like BBCS, GGXXAC, 3S, SSFIV, KoF 2k2/98, etc. You should keep an open mind about games, only good comes out of it.

GGPO isn't that bad if you play vs. someone with a good connection. I just started playing 3rd Strike in January and yeah, I get owned a lot, but that's mostly because of my lack of experience. Then again I can throw down with some people who have been playing for years. Lag, when it's really bad, does suck balls though. I think some people have a custom lag button on their joystick because it seems like when I try to press an attack, it gets laggy all of the sudden and I get punished.

@fistofsage if you are useing a japan made stick it adds alittle more lag compare to a happ comp becaues of the shorter throw. i been useing a comp stick on ggpo for many years now and it is only when i finaly made the swicth to a japan made stick (aka pussystick) did i see the lag affect the moves and its get worst when both are useing a japan made stick

If someone is parrying all of your moves to the point where you think the game is unplayable, it isn't the game's fault, it's yours. Stop being so predictable and come up with a new strategy. Don't blame the game for something that's obviously the player's fault.

That game is basically like 3rd Strike, but for some reason, not only is it playable, it is heralded as the most balanced game ever. Even it does have parry, I prefer it, any day of the week over that filth known as 3rd Crud!

What if all people did was parry in Garou? Would that make the game unplayable, too? I've never seen a match on Youtube where ALL they did was parry. It's the players' choice to parry, you know, not the game's. The game doesn't force you to parry the move. You probably can't even parry a fireball.

@stupidoofus72 I can parry a fireball, just fine, thank you. But my point is, excessive parrying makes that game unplayable. There's some great players at the arcade I go to, but all they do is parry parry parry. 3rd Strike is crud, it will always be crud, 'nough said.

@Sledge070685 If you watch high-level play, you will see that parries are not very common. Happen a few times a round? Sure. Happens constantly? No.
Ever try some basic throw mix-ups? Hell, basic low-overhead mix-ups, even.

I'm not very good at 3rd strike, because I'm going from SSFIV to this, and this makes the combos in SSFIV look like Marvel combos in terms of difficulty. But I know that if you are getting ALL your attacks parried, then you must be really predictable. If you could parry every attack then you would be the best player at this game. Because people can parry, that makes the game bad?

GGPO isn't that bad if you play vs. someone with a good connection. I just started playing 3rd Strike in January and yeah, I get owned a lot, but that's mostly because of my lack of experience. Then again I can throw down with some people who have been playing for years. Lag, when it's really bad, does suck balls though. I think some people have a custom lag button on their joystick because it seems like when I try to press an attack, it gets laggy all of the sudden and I get punished.

@fistofsage if you are useing a japan made stick it adds alittle more lag compare to a happ comp becaues of the shorter throw. i been useing a comp stick on ggpo for many years now and it is only when i finaly made the swicth to a japan made stick (aka pussystick) did i see the lag affect the moves and its get worst when both are useing a japan made stick

I dunno if this is sarcastic or not, but I recently download GGPO and it's ridiculous. There's so much delay you barely have time to block or counter anyone's move, and i only play people with a real low ping. Playing street fighter HD remix on PSN was a much better experience for me.
